Bracebridge Golf Club and Driving Range

Great 9 hole golf course off hwy 117. Great place to take newbies to the sport and play best ball. Get a cart, your friends will appreciate it. The putting greens are challenging and I saw too many 2 puts. Oh well, that's golf. After the game go look for Muskoka brewery to thank your host. I've been playing this course for 10 years and still enjoy the challenge

This is a pretty easy 9-hole course. It's not overly expensive either. The only problem (this year; prior years were fine) was that the greens were in rough shape.

I'm honestly shocked this is rated 4.4 stars. The staff is nice and the location is convenient but the conditions and layout of the course are terrible. Some tee boxes have no grass and extremely hard soil. Most of the fairways are not distinguished. 2 stars may be harsh but this is definitely on the lower end of golf courses.

I’m reviewing this course based on the cost per round of 9 holes compared to other courses I’ve played and their 9 hole cost.This course is ~$55 per player with a cart for 9 holes, the courses I typically play are higher end courses and run me about $80 per round for 18 holes. I would imagine this course if it were 18 would cost around $80-90 as well.Problem is, the course isn’t even close to being nice enough for that kind of ask. There are no fairways, no trimmed tee boxes, only what most courses would consider to be a first cut in every spot but the greens, which are like fairways at a nice course. The holes are also for the most part unimaginative and uninteresting to play.I feel bad reviewing this course so poorly because the people are nice, but this should cost $25-30 a round, not $55. Find somewhere else to play.

If I could give no stars I would. This place is an absolute joke. They are way out on their prices. Just because you are a golf course in Muskoka doesn’t mean you can bend people over. They wanted $800 for 3 tee times pre paid NO REFUNDS. A joke.

Tried to book three tee times on a Saturday morning with carts, was told we needed to pre-pay and it was going to be $800. When asked why it was so expensive and why we needed to pre-pay they said their policy was that the first two groups are $50/person and after that it’s $100/person?? With no reason as to why except that because we would be “tying up six carts”. As if the carts would be earning more money if someone else was paying for them instead? Absolutely insane behaviour and will not be trying to return.

Lovely people and a great little nine-hole course. The greens could be a little better groomed, however.

9 hole public course. Relatively inexpensive. The course is in good shape but some of the greens need some attention.

Value is there for a quick walk. No need to drive and enjoy some time with friends.

Greens and tee boxes could use some serious work. Good location, but should be about $25 walking. decent course for last minute golfing when everything else is full.
