This company is a disgrace to the service industry. Absolutely nightmarish experience. Terrible management and disgusting excuse for a building. I'm insulted that this place can even get a star let alone continue to do business

Bed bugs, roaches and mice. Disgusting. Don't rent from them. Unit 511 started an infestation and now it's all over the place!

My mom is cancer patient and i have diabetics asthmatic i was locked in washroom because the door was jammed and there was no help from anyone and it was middle of the night on Christmas day so my mom had to break the door but little bit hole we asked them so many times to fix it. No one come to help now samantha saw the door now asking to pay for the damage we broke the door in important purposeful not to ruin the property i have bladder problem and i was getting panic attack. Its sad that these management dont care about people health they only care about money. First listen to your tenants that live in your building that has situation problems too. The fire alarm in the units we took it down to change the battery because of the noise we kept it on the table ner the kitchen because it fell on the floor. These management are rude and not helpful at all sad that people that work only care about money and not people health and situation. They can make millions out of the property but there heart is dark

If I could give no stars I would do it. Completely terrible company to rent from. Never put their tenants first. They have never fixed any problems that we have had. 0 star! You will regret renting from them.

A recurring theme of bottles dropped from another patio above, which shattered on my own. “Mgmt” just shrugs it’s shoulders and says it can’t do anything. I have a young child and a dog, and we basically can’t use the patio. I wrote Destaron directly and they ignored me. Save your money, rent elsewhere.

WORST NIGHTMARE EVER, AVOID THEM ENTIRELY: Under no circunstances rent from this company or you will regret your decision. Elevators not working. PEOPLE GET STUCK ALL THE TIME. Infestated with roaches. Poorly cleaned (Had dog poop on the carpet in front of my unit for days, carpets never been washed, etc). My partner got zapped by the neglected and dangerous garage entrance key system. Hasnt been fixed yet. Many issues with the buildings itself and the management. Barely see them when needed. Please DONT RENT FROM THIS CROOKS!

I lived there in 2019 at 85 Green Valley - Sue and Don are extremely incompetent! They are always turning off the water for days at a time, one time while I was sleeping and my sister was a guest (minor) sleeping in my living room. Someone unlocked our apartment door and walked right into our apartment to inspect our A/C. No notice. I was infuriated. I found out later that Sue and Don sent another landlord to walk into my apartment. After that, I had to leave.

Service is terrible , today it's January 2 2023, we have no warm water since December 29 2022, nobody cares, nobody is coming

Destaron attempted to raise the rent above the Ontario Guideline without filing the proper LTB N1 forms during a pandemic and economic crisis.Destaron's aggressive rent increase practices and rude customer service are extremely stressful to live with. My opinion is to avoid this company at all costs.

Terrible property management. Took 4 days to repair a backed up toilet, we had to use our friends washroom down the road, and there was damage to our bedroom. They will also contract themselves for work on the building and pay themselves and exuberant amount of money to increase rent. You will also most likely never get in contact with anyone who works in management and constantly get the runaround. Stay away at all costs, do not rent from a destaron owned building!
