Parlour Ice Cream

The ice cream here is pretty good. Definitely a generous scoop for $5. I think the flavours could be a bit more pronounced (e.g. salted caramel had just a hint of that flavour, same with whiskey hazelnut). I also REALLY wish they had a kids scoop option.

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever had. So rich in flavour. We tried pistachio and raspberry cream cheese in a Waffle cone & waffle cup. If you’re in Kelowna - do visit. Nice view as well.

There was a long line up so we were hoping the ice cream would be worth the wait.. And it turned out to be the best ice cream I’ve ever had!!! The salted caramel on a freshly made waffle cone was perfection. All of the other flavours looked dreamy and the staff were very friendly. If you’re in Kelowna- go get some!!

Wandering around downtown Kelowna in August it becomes quickly evident that ice cream is in popular demand. After passing countless people struggling to devour some gigantic cones while smiling ear to ear we knew we had to give it a try. It wasn’t hard to locate Parlour Ice Cream, the line was around the corner!The closer you get the more your senses start to come alive, afterall there is nothing like the smell of freshly made waffle cones. This of course does wonders for the anticipation of the the tasty treat to come.Parlour is obsessed with local ingredients and unique flavour profiles. New and experimental flavours are constantly being added to showcase local ingrediants.What did we have?Salted Caramel“House made caramel and sea salt. “This decadent smooth and creamy ice cream was like luxury in a cone. We tend to taste anything Salted and Caramel flavoured and this was amazing. Big fans!Whisky Hazelnut“Okanagan Spirits Whisky, Gellatly Nut Farm Hazelnuts”I really enjoyed this favour. I went back and forth because I was worried would just taste like a boozy nutella but it didn’t. It was smooth, light, maybe a little smokey but in a very subtle way. The ice cream was rich but not too heavy. A delicious creation and I am glad I tasted. While a whisky tasting the next day at the Okanagan Spirits tasting room a few doors up we found out they supply the whisky. That is local!If you are in Kelowna and looking for a tasty cold treat Parlour is the place. Don’t let the lineups discourage you. We got through in half the time we expected. They are fast, efficient and server up delicious handcrafted ice cream.

Fun atmosphere the boys at the front were super friendly and welcoming, ice cream was 10/10 gotta try the banana cream pie !! Close to waterfront so you can eat your ice cream with a view !!

Hands down best ice cream I've EVER had. The flavours are out of this world and each flavour is handcrafted and SO delish. You will NOT be disappointed!

What an awesome experience!So many unique flavours to choose from. The whole family loved the tasty ice cream and the friendly staff were very helpful in our decision making. To see the kid’s faces while enjoying the delicious ice cream was priceless. We’ll definitely will be back next time we’re in Kelowna. ❤️

I went on vacation with friends and while having brunch we saw a number of people passing with ice cream cones. We were curious as to where they got these and asked a lady who shared with us where to go and the best flavors to try. Let's just say for three days straight we went there for desert in the evening. One of my friend is lactose in tolerant and how good the ice cream was she just could not help herself with each triop we made to get ice cream. This is the best ice cream place in Canada! You guys now have a fan who is spreading the word around! Whenever I'm back in in Kelowna, I'll be stopping by for sure to have my fill.

There is seriously no ice cream shop that is better than Parlour! The creamy and rich ice cream is to die for. They have a good selection of flavours, and they make their waffle cones in-house. They have take-home pints available too, which is always delicious! The staff are always kind. The lines are usually long; but that's a good sign!

Parlour is the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The advantage of handcrafted ice cream made with local ingredients is unmistakable (and what a double whammy when it comes to supporting local!). With every visit I am shocked by the creamy, smooth texture and rich (not overwhelmingly sweet) flavours. Parlour has created adult-appreciated quality in reminiscent flavours like Cookie Monster and birthday cake, as well as modern experiences like pistachio, lavender, and whiskey hazelnut. Instead of the usual sorbet for us lactose intolerant and vegan folk, they have coconut & cashew ice cream! And don’t miss the house-made waffle cones, which taste as good as they smell! The portions are very generous, and its location encourages sitting to enjoy the lake view while you indulge!So skip desert, and stop at parlour when you’re downtown for dinner next! It’s a favorite among my whole family.
