HI-FI plus

Had a front and rear dash cam installed. HiFi was easy to schedule an appointment with even with my busy schedule. Im very happy with the work performed. I can't see any wires and everything works perfectly. The work was completed quicker than expected as well. Highly recommended.

My cousin took her GMC SUV in for some work and she had an expensive GEL CELL battery in it. Worth over $400. Being that there was a factory cover over it she never thought about it until a few months later to give someone a boost and we'll you could imagine the surprise. I wouldn't say it was the owner but you never know. Anyway that's the kind of people you'll be dealing with.

i can't with a clear conscious give a good review .i brought a grand Cherokee with 3000km to them( so brand new and everything working properly) what i got back was a vehicle with no interior lights, ill fitting panels, connectors not reconnected, a computer code for the shifter, that i had to spend the next 24hrs fixing everything, i got all the equipment screwed to the back of the back seat and i had to tune the system myself, cause the installer was too lazy to do it. i got a sub-par install for a premium price. i couldve done a waaaaaay better job myself, and i wouldve saved a $1000 bucks. yes $1000 for just an install, no product charged 12hrs labor for what souldve taken no more than 7 hours, they had my vehicle for 2+days i didnt bug yet i was treated like an inconvenience , the installer was rude, and VERY unprofessional. when i came to pick the vehicle up. this used to be a good place... 20 yrs ago buyer beware.

I brought my 2014 corolla in today to have the head unit replaced. The installation is fantastic. I've been sitting in my driveway for the past hour and everything is working perfectly. The time quoted to finish the job was accurate and I ended up paying less than originally advised. A perfect and clean installation. Great job fellas!

Excellent experience here! Just got my Volkswagen starter installed at HiFi. Al did everything he said he would including sticking to his original quote, installing the starter within 3-4 hours and seeing me on a Saturday to accommodate my busy schedule. He walked us through how to use the remote and also saved me a key. I had no issues here. Al is very good at what he does. Thank you HiFi!

I recently was looking for a stereo system for my transport truck. I contacted and met with multiple car audio stores in Niagara and Hamilton area. Every place seemed to want to up sell me into more and more expensive equipment $5000.00 plus install at some places. I called HI-FI as one more options before making any decisions. I spoke with Al who was totally knowledgeable and helpful on the phone and had everything I needed and he recommended I did in stock. A hour later I was in the store and he walked me through what he thought I needed from what I was telling him at a fraction of the prices the other guys tried to up sell me. He was more then willing to sell me more expensive equipment if I wanted but strongly recommend I tried his suggestions first and if I wasn’t happy we could make changes. I have had multiple stereos in multiple trucks and with his advice and help has me with the best sounding system to date I have had.Thanks Al for your helpGreat customer service and support hands down my go to place in the future.

We had our automatic car starter installed at Hi Fi last winter. Work was done professionally within a couple of hours and left no trace of alteration or modification. Great job at fair price. I liked talking to Al, the friendly owner as well. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

UPDATED REVIEW (about a year later):Sub worked fine for about a year, but then started popping every time I would open car doors. Thinking it was amp problem, I reached out to Crutchfield (where I bought it) and they told me to confirm power-on sense wire. I traced the blue wire from amp to the front of the car and found it loosely wrapped around wires of the junction block, the end of it was cut off straight - not connected to anything. That was the loose" wire that I tucked in after the install. I connected the wire to one of fuse slots and now it works properly again. Two clips that hold the garnish in place were broken during the OG install. Not impressed...OG: They installed a sub-amp combo with a remote into my new car. The job was done in quoted time and $$. It brought back life into my car audio. One small thing they could improve on is to confirm appearance of wires after the install: there was a cut wire sticking out from the floor harness from under the door sill
