Well packaged, great communication by the delivery person (friendly), every item is accounted for, came within the delivery time range and 3 email communication saying an ordered placed, on its way and delivered with details of all items included. I ordered from them for the very first time and they completely impressed me by delivering high quality and fresh products and by providing excellent customer service. They quickly answer all the queries of customers and the live chat feature is amazing and all agents are trained and friendly. I'd like to echo comments made by others that Voila is certainly a high quality and well-run grocery delivery service. Their trucks are clean and super organized and fresh/frozen items are always delivered cold. The delivery staff call ahead to let you know their arrival time and are most often quite friendly to chat with. The freshness dates generally range from one week to 10 days, although the odd time you may receive meat/poultry with a best-by date of three to four days. I've never had an issue with the quality of the products delivered. This service is far superior to the process of going shopping, standing in line, packing the car, unpacking, and carrying everything in. Honestly, the pandemic offered up a 'silver lining' and it came in the form of Voila. Sounds corny, but it's true.

I had a delivery from Voila that was done today in which I did not receive approx. half of my order. I called the driver, who advised that they did not have the remaining products in their truck, and advised me to reach out to the customer service department. The customer service department told me that they could not provide the items as they were not deliverable. I was not provided adequate information on what exactly happened, but was advised I would receive a refund for the missing items.I am now left having to do my grocery shopping in person at another time as I was not advised in advance that these items were unavailable.

The worst food delivery service I've dealt with. I had 3 different food delivery services deliver to my apartment today and I only ran into problems with Voila. I was stuck in bed all week with COVID and could not answer the door. I asked the delivery person to leave it at my apartment door as I could not answer the door. She refused saying that it was company policy. Which was understandable since she was only doing her job. I called customer service and they were incredibly rude saying I could just crack open my front door to confirm delivery. This was after I told him I had COVID.Their website FAQ specifically say that the delivery person will meet you at the door to confirm the order and make sure you are satisfied with everything. And in cases of self-isolation, the delivery member will work with you to agree on the best delivery method possible.So this customer service rep was 1. Willing to place their employee at risk of getting COVID just so I could check my order and 2. Did not adhere to their COVID policies. I told him I needed the food, am at home, am confirming over the phone that she could just leave the groceries at my front door and they are refusing so what did he want me to do about this order? He said, I want you to follow company policies." Sir

Used Voila for the first time. My groceries arrived within the time frame I picked. Driver communicated with me before arriver. All the items were correct, packaging were proper and neat.6 platice bags for 15 items seem a little unnecessary. They could come up with better ways to reduce plastic bag use.Unlike Instacarrt they don’t have additional personal shopper service that you can chat with your shopper if item needs to be replaced. However there was no missing or cancelled items and no additional service charge. Only deliver charge of $7.99 more pricier than Instacart.All the meat & produce items were fresh with good expiry date.

I have been using voila by Sobeys for two years now. When I reached out about the change to handless paper bags, I was told that change takes time. How incredibly rude to say to a loyal client who has spent thousands of dollars with your company. I am now shopping at Walmart and Costco now and saving tons of $$$$.

After having a membership since they pretty much started out and ordered thousands of dollars worth of stuff, they failed me. They wouldn’t accept a return for some item that is in a container and clearly not opened. It was accidentally clicked and added to cart…I never once tried returning an item and once I did they say, “COVID policy— we don’t accept returns.” Literally? Sobeys store accepts returns. Every other grocery store accepts returns. This COVID B.S is being drawn out way too long. I literally just had 7 of my friends discontinue their memberships from this garbage of a policy. Lost 8 memberships over this garbage of a policy.Note: The item expired in 15 days from when I received it. It’s a packaged item— not perishable. No one can use that amount of what it is in that amount of time.
