Baking My Feels

After seeing the page on Instagram, I decided to give this place a shot during my next visit to Canada. The shot was a hit! I brought some friends along with me, and we ordered a dozen cupcakes and an order of the Better than Cinnabon" Cinnamon Buns. They both exceeded expectations. My nephew and I were sharing a major milestone birthday this year, about two weeks apart from one another (his 10th and my 40th). I wanted to get a cake that incorporated our two favourite things, mine being donuts, and his being Jason (Friday the 13th). I reached out to a few different bakers and cake designers, and the only one that not only responded saying they could do it, but also provided some alternative creative options for the design, was Maikaila. I could feel her genuine creativity and excitement right through the email, and knew she was the right choice. To say I wasn't disappointed is a complete understatement. She was a consummate professional throughout the experience, and is clearly so passionate about what she does. The cake was absolutely incredible!!! Far exceeded my expectations. Not only was everything well crafted, it was delicious! Honestly, this was the most moist vanilla cake I have ever had. We will absolutely be repeat customers!!! PLEASE support Baking My Feels!!

I've never been much of a dessert guy, but have come to the conclusion - I've now been converted. My wife made me try one of those better than Cinnabon" Cinnamon buns and I'm reluctant to say that after that experience I have since ordered and tried everything on that list (In an embarrassing time span) and already have come to terms with there being no summer body for 2023. Amazing. Simply Amazing.I feel like I always read but never leave reviews

I don't normally make a habit of writing reviews, but in this case I had to. On the suggestion from a friend, I tried the cheesecake...and let me tell you, I was transported to another reality. From the graham crust to the cheese filling, not a beat was missed. You can see and taste the care that was put into the cake and all of their baked goods.I'm not sure if there is a character limit, so I will keep it short. The Cinnabons, are absolutely phenomenal. The icing is the right density, not overly sweet, and the Cinnabon itself has that satisfying outer crunch with a glorious gooey interior. Not to mention they reheat in the airfryer very well!Make sure you follow the instructions on thawing or reheating any of the goods, they know what they are talking about!
