Roxi's Uptown Cafe
Ordered the roast beef sandwich.Was thoroughly disappointed. It was like eating fried shoe leather and lots of fat and grizzle. Heard a lot of good things but based on this experience I won't be back. Service was slow and it wasn't even busy.

My partner and I called and ordered their plenty of nachos and their breaded salt and pepper wings. We were told it would take 25 minutes which wasn’t a problem at all. It came to just over $40.00 for nachos and wings. That also wasn’t a problem due to the fact that we had been there so often and always loved it. As soon as we got home we drove in and after our first bite of a chip realized how much seasoning salt they put on their chips. I have never heard of any restaurant putting seasoning salt on nachos. They were not edible at all. As well as our wings had zero flavour except for the spots that had salt and pepper on them. We ended up throwing all of it out And have agreed we will never be back.

I can't rave enough about our experience! We were just passing through and decided to go off of what Google reviews had to say in the area.We were so impressed with the staff (Lanette) and food.. completely blown away!We will definitely be making the drive back out to this place.If you're in Selkirk please do yourself a big favor and stop in at Roxi's for a bite.Check out my half eaten plate; The food looked soo good I forgot to snap a pic while it was a full plate.

Was visiting Selkirk and looking for a family restaurant. Kids meals were great, my husband actually enjoyed his vegetables. Fast and friendly service. Recommend trying the breaded pickles. I want to go back because there was a lot I wanted to try from the menu.

Roxi's Uptown Cafe
The restaurant was busy and the waitress was very friendly. There was lots of food selections to choose from at a decent price. The portion sizes were good too I got a burger and it was the most juiciest burger I've had in a long time! Walking out the dessert counter caught my eye and I got the cheesecake vaiety pack, it was absolutely amazing! I wasn't expecting them to have such a balance of flavor. We'll definitely be back!! ❤

Amazing food and amazing service! Waitress was friendly, followed up and everything was right. Roast beef dinner and chicken Parmesan with spaghetti. Bistro fries and bistro sauce as appetizer. A+

Nice place to eat. Waitress was amazing. The food was just ok. Had the walleye/pickerel. It was just ok no real flavor. The Bistro fries had a nice coating however again lacked true flavor. Bathroom men's tap only had cold water didn't have any hot water. Willing to give this place another try in the future maybe.

Cozy restaurant with reasonable prices.I had the pickerel meal and it was done perfectly. No batter just a light dusting of flour.The picture doesn’t do it justice, it looks a little bland , but tastes very good.Buddy had a vegee burger and soup. Said both were lovely. But was not pleased to be charged $2.99 for the extra spinach he requested.Definitely will return.4 stars because the decor is very dated, but good food and good prices.

Honestly the food used to be good here and now it’s garbage. They raised prices and well apparently what I got was worth 38??? I didn’t know the cooks went to culinary school? On top of that I called well in advance for certain pick up time. The girl said it would be ready before I got there. I asked her to just tell the kitchen to have it ready for that time. Her response was “I’ll just put it in later”. Was it ready when I got there….no. Don’t waste your time this place has gone down a steep hill and picking up speed
