More importantly, the students focus on collaboration and effective problem solving. Richland offers endless opportunities with open arms for all students. In doing this, the students are confident and world ready.

My son went to Richland when he was 3 at year 2018. It was not a nice experience for me personally.

Richland Academy provides a rich learning environment and many opportunities to advance the social, emotional and academic learning of its students. Students thrive working with staff who are caring, collaborative and dedicated to developing student confidence and student success.

Richland is truly an amazing school, and I can say that it has made a lasting impression and taught me so many important and valuable life lessons which I will always cherish and never forget. Richland has also given me the gift of strong and irreplaceable friendships. Because of this amazing school and all the great teachers and students at Richland I truly blossomed in academics and socially. I will always carry this amazing experience that I had at Richland.

As a Reggio-Inspired school, Richland Academy stands out from the rest and is filled with beautifully designed and inspiring spaces for the children to work and live in. Students gain invaluable life skills and the capacity for creative problem solving through the strong community and culture of learning at Richland Academy.

I attended this school G3 to G6 and all i can say is there is lots of amazing things happening. the learning is great and you truly can understand how to learn after one year here because of the way the teachers do their job. everybody is very close and most of the kids do not have behavior problems which is a plus since it makes learning much easier. i do have a few cons though. when i first attended this school it had about 120 kids there. one class for each grade and it was fine at the time for my age. is i grew older and some of my friends had left the school i was left with just a small friend group which i was not a fan of. i ended up moving back into the public system where i am now. if you care about your child social life, this school may not be fitted for you. (my name is Mitchell if you are trying to figure out who i am.)

Walking in to Richland Academy there is a feeling that I have only experienced at an exciting social enterprise. I am always struck by the open space where creative things constantly happen. I have seen everything from art work to building projects, to exhibitions to a set up akin to a TedX.All the staff and teachers clearly love children and teaching and their commitment shines through. The learners are happy, engaged and excited to participate.I had the pleasure of working with grades 1 - 7 on improving their public speaking skills. It was such a joy to go to Richland Academy each and every visit.I truly wish that Richland Academy was around when my children were younger.If you have children from 18 months old through to Grade 8 and are looking for an enriching experience that is innovative and will prepare your child for the current world, I highly recommend Richland Academy.

Richland pre-K has been a great experience for our child. BG1 teachers Ms. Abbott. Ms. B and Ms. K has been a great exposure and simply amazing. Our child has learned a lot of social development and progressed educationally. These teachers are warm and welcoming and understands how to handle the little ones. Due to COVID19 all schools are closed, however we are looking forward to return to Grade 1.

I have seen how Richland Academy is developing students that are globally aware and comfortable problem-solvers. Richland Academy currently uses a Reggio approach to inquiry teaching and learning and is embarking on weaving the International Baccalaureate into the school’s programming. The building offers an inviting, well-resourced learning environment. I have worked with dedicated teachers as they engage in professional learning opportunities to enrich and improve their students’ learning. The Student-Led Learning Walk invited parents and community members to see evidence of ongoing student learning and was led by the students themselves. The school simply buzzed with excitement.
