It wasn't until I found this place, located in an area a little south down from the city of Cochrane, that I realized I was in a position beyond 49 degrees north latitude. It is a very meaningful landmark park. If you're not careful, you'll pass it by.

Not unlike most towns along the road, this is a sad little spot that could use some maintenance. Bathrooms and picnic tables available for a little rest stop but the plaque and actual line need cleaning and refreshing.

Nice riverside park to enjoy outings with family n friends.The park has parkings too and also contains benches to sit and barbecue.You can also find wildlife there.

A free rest area with a toilet that allows overnight parking.

Amazing view of New Liskeard area. Washrooms are a glorified portapotty but toilet paper is always kept stocked. Entryway is long enough to keep highway noise away so if you need to pull off the road for a nap or a picnic lunch you will have a little peace and quiet.
