I lost the screws (hard to find even online) for installing my dead bolt and Steve at Lock-Up helped me found them ! Now I can install my lock properly. Got key duplicate at the same time at a very reasonable price. Friendly service. Recommend.

I live on 8th south of lakeshore. I’m part of a growing landscape company and we recently bought a saddle type tool box for my work truck. Super pricey but we scored a floor model from Home Depot at less than a third of the cost. The catch? No mounting hardware or keys. Knowing that there’s a locksmith on my street I figured it would be an easy solve…. When I went in, the owner was there (I know who he is through friends in the area). I presented my issue and I could barely finish before he immediately shut me down. Rudely I might add. I asked if they could either rekey the locks or replace the tumblers for the locks. He barely let me speak and said they do nothing of the sort. I currently have a locksmith friend who is replacing the tumblers for me and YES the locks for husky brand are hard to rekey. But seriously, who would want to offer business to someone so disrespectful and rude who didn’t even hear me out before rudely dismissing a customer and who seemingly can’t do such an apparently simple job….As someone in the service industry im disgusted at his business practice and simply disappointed as well. This area is great but people like him are not deserving of good business.

The courtesy I received merits 5 stars. I was having a ton of trouble getting my stroller in the door and the gentleman helped me to carry it in and out. He was also very friendly and the key cutting that I needed was fast and affordable.

They also helped alleviate stress by allowing me to complete a minor but extremely important task among the hundreds on our minds during a move.The prices were extremely fair, and I would recommend this services for all your lock and key cutting needs ten-fold.
