Hellamaid Cleaning Service

Don’t use this service of you want a deep clean or even more than just a spritz of air freshener!I just moved into my apartment and the previous tenants hadn’t cleaned before leaving- while it wasn’t messy or dirty looking from first glance, it definitely needed a good clean, especially since none of it was my dirt…yuck. I guess the cleaners who showed up were banking on that fact and thought I wouldn’t notice. So wrong.When they arrived, I was a bit worried since they didn’t come with many supplies and only a tiny dust buster of a vacuum. I had specific things that were a priority for cleaning and I left them in the notes when I booked and I told both cleaners about them just in case; not a single one of those things was done. They didn’t mop, the floors were still covered in dust and dirt. They didn’t clean the bathroom. They didn’t sweep or vacuum. Not a single mirror was wiped. Not a single cobweb removed. The carpets didn’t even look vacuumed! I literally have zero idea what they did for the 1 1/2 hours they were there. Which is another thing, I was told 3 hours per cleaner- they weren’t even there for 2 hours. I got a notification from my door sensor that they were leaving, I was shocked by how quickly they were done, so I called to be sure everything was okay- they said it was great! No issues and my apartment was cleaned. All lies.I contacted the company and sent in pictures and they sent someone else out 2 days later…one person…to do a deep clean in 3 hours. The poor girl did her best and she was lovely and really tried to get it all done in 3 hours but the bathroom alone ate up 1 1/2.To send one person to do a two person job after your first cleaners royally messed up, is not only unfair to your customers who pay a large amount but also your staff!! Just awful. Will never use this company again and will advise everyone I know against them. Wish I could give less stars.

Both times I used, the cleaning staff came a bit late but they texted me and kept me informed the entire time, so no issues there. The clean was amazing, and the second time the cleaner even stayed a bit later to finish up and I was not charged extra. Wonderful experience and I am signed up for the monthly clean now.

We booked a deep clean as a first time client and were very pleased with the service. Easy to book online and responsive customer service. The cleaning was detailed and their checklist set our expectations properly. They followed up the next day to make sure we were happy. Would certainly recommend!

I booked a cleaning for 4 hours knowing the girl probably wouldn't be able to get it all done, but I was amazed by the efficiency and quality of cleaning Chanel provided. I will definitely be booking again!

It was super easy to book the time slot. No hidden fees, straight forward and simple.Elizabeth was the helper who came by. I loved her! She did an amazing job. She exceeded all my expectations. My 82 yo dad is recently widowed, (7 months) My mom was very ill. He was her primary caregiver and it was hard to keep up with the housework. After my mom passed, my dad got sick. Housekeeping fell really far behind! The two ladies that did the Deep Clean were amazing. They were pleasant, attentive, efficient, PROFESSIONAL, I could go on. They treated my dad with respect even laughing at his dad jokes! I am 100% over the moon with this service. Please do what ever you can to keep these two ladies! I would highly recommend Hella Maid and I will use them again!
