Big Tree Properties

I have enjoyed renting big tree properties. They fairly returned my almost damage deposit. Sarah is nice lady, always willing to help the clients. Guys if you clean the apartment professionally especially closet, sink and bath tubs as well as do shampooing of carpets, they surely return all of your damage deposit. Normally they give apartment with spotless clean condition so that it is our duty to return it back in the same condition to expect full deposit back.

I rented from Big Tree Property for about five (5) years. They were amazing with anything I needed. I believe a good tenant gets a good landlord. I would rent with them again. No issues at all with them.

My parents rented a house from big tree properties and the carpets were quite dirty when they moved in not only the carpets but the walls and the cabinets hadn't been cleaned. Time came when they moved out my mom cleaned all the walls and I helped her clean the cabinets inside out, plus we cleaned the rugs as good as possible and now they don't get any damage deposit back because the house wasn't cleaned when it actually was cleaner when they moved out than when they moved in. And it was just my mom and dad no small children. Not happy at all

Not nice people, rude, disrespectful if they don't show up to a walk-through for your damage deposit,that's there way of saying your not getting your deposit back, just a joke.

i rented with Big Tree a couple years ago, and tbh the first year was good! i was living with a roommate at the time, service and management was good! i had no complaints. i had called about a few things that needed to be fixed.. like the AC and a closet door that had broke..(this was after my roommate moved out) which was already partially broken when i moved in, also the apartment had not been cleaned or carpet cleaned, before i moved in. and the AC actually never even got fixed before i moved out. i would say about...3-4 months before i gave notice that i was moving, things started going south.. the management whom may i add I've know my whole life, started becoming really rude and mean and blaming me for things that i had no idea about, came to my door after 8pm, might i add i was trying to sleep because i work nights..and they started yelling at me, about an issue that i had no idea about, and then told me that they were going to evict me... although i had no idea what they were talking about.. after the argument, the management and i both came to a verbal agreement that they were NOT going to evict me because, let me say it again i had no idea what they were talking about when it came to the issue. a few weeks later i gave written notice in a text, that i would be moving.. i gave about a month and a half notice. before moving out, i had family help me clean because i did not want anymore issues with them, so we cleaned until the apartment was spotless, (we even cleaned the ceiling) after a few months, i found out from a friend.. who had also been renting from them, that she was told by the management, that they had evicted me from the apartment, and that the apartment was absolutely disgusting" after i had moved out

When I first moved into one of their apartments, the sinks were brown, there was piss all over the toilet and around it. Apparently the carpet was cleaned... it wasn’t. When I vacuumed the floors the vacuum cleaner was filled three times. The bathtub was gross and dirty as well. Now I moved out and I cleaned everything, but I’m only getting one fourth of my deposit back. Nothing was broken or damaged! They are charging me for things that weren’t even my responsibility.It just seems pretty shady and unprofessional. I would not recommend to rent anything from them.

This business is near criminal. If you have a disability they will discriminate till they kick you out for whatever reason they see fit. They have been told by tennancy branch many times what they are allowed to do but they refuse to follow the law .I rented from them and all I ever had was problems and threats they refused to give me my damage back for no reason and one worker tried giving my child the eviction notice. Joke of a company

I had a great experience with Big Tree Properties! The staff were very friendly, helpful and responded quickly. They helped me secure an apartment while I was in Ontario, and the whole process and move-in was very smooth. When I decided to move to a different place, the move-out was just as easy and I had no issues whatsoever. Thanks for everything!
