Don River Villa - Boutique Inn

Amazing getaway right in the city! The location is lovely for hiking-lovers as the villa is located right in the middle of the forest with hours and hours of hiking trails. There is even a ski hill just 400m from the house. As for the interior, the villa is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. My favorite part is the big kitchen for everyone to use. It comes stocked with cookware, olive oil, spices as well as a coffee & tea station. Each guest has their own cabinet with dishes and utensils as well as their own numbered spot in the fridge. There is also a dining area and TV area for everyone to enjoy. I loved that the hosts' cats come up to say hi and there is also a puppy that you can ask to pet.The most unique aspect of this villa is that they offer Wellness services which were really fun and educational too. I booked a yoga class, a Tarot Reading (which was very enlightening), as well as an interactive cooking class called Superfoods Workshop. I learned a lot during the class and all the food we made was super delicious.I also, ordered the Polish-Canadian Breakfast during my stay and it was very tasty and filling.I will definitely come back with my partner and book more Wellness services!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, modern and spacious. The hosts were amazing - They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the Don River Villa Boutique Inm for anyone visiting downtown.

I stayed here for one night and it was lovely! I got in much later than expected and Yad was very communicative and understanding. The house and rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautiful, and I was able to enjoy some tea by the river in the morning which was very peaceful. The hosts were very sweet and it’s clear that they go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. I casually mentioned that something had come loose on my car when I arrived and Yad insisted on coming outside in the middle of the night to help me re-attach it so I could make it home the next day! I would highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking to visit Toronto.

This is some old luxury home from the 80s that they've cleaned up and turned into a little boutique hotel. I loved it. There's nothing fancy, it's starting to show its age, but overall in very good repair. Everything was exactly what I needed, and overall I was delighted. I'll be staying here again, and would not hesitate to recommend it. This is a great location if you have a vehicle and need to be near North York, or really anywhere Central North in the city.The room was massive, and the bed was just as I like it, but the seating was a bit uncomfortable, so a nicer office chair and maybe a comfy chair in the room would be nice. Not deal breakers. The full kitchen was really nice to have. The hosts were friendly, professional, and they live on the lower floor, so they're on-site and engaged. It felt to me like perhaps inns used to be like before hotel chains.

It was my first time in Canada and i had a good time at Don River Villa and i will recommend it to friends and family. Amazing view, location very accessible for tourists with transport minutes away.Showers, Bedrooms and Kitchen very clean. With an amazing garden and if you are a pet lover this is the right place!Willing to return very soon.

I had excellent experience recently at the Don River Villa in Toronto. They went above and beyond in making sure that we were accommodated and happy. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. My room was big and the customer service was 5+ stars, highly recommended.

Ideal for a traveller who doesn't mind some communal aspects to their living experience. The blend of Hotel, BnB, hostel and boutique Inn were a unique aspect I had never experienced before. I was able to enjoy the peace and quiet of my private room (with a lovely view of the river), cook my own food in the large kitchen and relax in the beautiful garden. The hosts Eva and Yad are down-to-earth and kind people who keep the space very clean and made me feel comfortable and welcome. It was a peaceful stay.
