We were a medium large group. Food came out great and together. Food was very good, portioned appropriate to price and quality. Great spot with open walls to the pedestrian street. Service could have been more attentive however that may just be Montreal style service - if you want or need something you must let it be known.

Met with some friends for dinner here. The ambiance was very nice, and the place was packed. Lovely service from the host and wait staff. Food was very delicious as well, right down to the dessert!

All of the staff were really nice and had no issue switching to English for us. The food and drinks came out quickly and were all delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert!

I was really surprised by the experience we had after receiving two different recommendations. It took several minutes to even be acknowledged by anyone upon arrival. We almost left but I'd made reservations, so I should have been expected. Finally get seated and the server was super sweet and helpful. I ordered the duck leg and it was just okay. The vegetables were a bit mushy. Ordered the fries and they were cold. It took so long to be seated and for food to arrive that we just ate and left. I told my colleague about our experience and she assured me that wasn't the norm. So next time we're in Montreal, I'll probably try again.

That's my favorite spot! Live and fresh! French wines are highly recommended. Oysters, Salmon tartar, and fishes are my absolute choice for each term. Don't waste your time finding a new spot in Montréal, Lumiere is waiting for you!

The atmosphere here is pleasant. Quite warm and inviting. Nice quality fixtures. Classic bistro feel. The food is also classic French bistro. Nothing out of the usual. We both had burgers and fries with a glass of wine. The prices were on the high side for the level of restaurant. In between cheap and up market. Overall we were happy with the experience.

Went there for a special dinner during our visit to Montreal. The service was great and the food was outstanding! Reasonable prices for one of the best meals we had there. Everything was perfect!

Very friendly staff, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. We went for lunch in a large group (about 50 people). The staff provided impeccable service. Personally my starter and main course lacked a bit of flavor, but that's normal when you have to prepare food for such a large group.

This place is nice and the staff too. But, the comm7nication between waiters seem not effective. Therefore they were a bit too pushy. In 5 minutes, 3 waiters asked us if everything is alright, if we need anything.. that's nice but, I was interrupted in my conversation 3 times in 5 minutes and I hate that.

The cheeseburger I had was absolutely delicious! The juicy patty combined with the melted cheese created a perfect harmony of flavors. It was a delightful treat that left me craving for more."
