I had the pleasure of stopping by while visiting port hope today and had the AMAZING pleasure of meeting the store owner Autumn. Bought a beautiful hand made charcuterie board and a great conversation! Definitely recommend stopping my by the next time your in town

Tall Birches is a magical, little oasis in the beautiful town of Port Hope. This shop has a very unique, fresh and fun vibe filled with beautiful and well-crafted artisanal pieces, gorgeous Canadian made candles, amazing soaps, and lotions, and one of a kind vintage pieces! I instantly feel relaxed every time I walk into this store, and there is always cool music playing to help take those worries away (especially during our recent Covid times!), so you can fully enjoy browsing the shop! The owner, Autumn, is absolutely lovely. She is like the human form of sunshine; very personable, and always goes out of her way to help you find exactly what you’re looking for! She truly cares about creating a beautiful shopping experience for every one of her customers, and makes you feel comfortable and very welcome. She is also very helpful and accommodating with online orders, as well!I always walk away feeling happy with having a wonderful shopping experience at Tall Birches. I love all of my goodies I leave with every time! A few of my favourite items I’ve purchased so far include: the Little Beausoleil Candles (Cottage Morning and Northern Lights scents), Natural Soy Pure Plant Based Luxury Candle (London Fog scent), trendy artisanal wooden coasters, Lamb’s Soapworks (Coconut Lip Butter, Black Raspberry Vanilla Body Scrub, and Lavender Vanilla soap bar), and The Perth Soap Co Body Lotions (Vanilla Coconut, and Milk and Honey scents).I highly recommend visiting Tall Birches! You will not be disappointed. I look forward to my next shopping trip there soon!!

I loved this shop! Interesting vintage clothing and home decor along with some amazing products that would make great gifts! I definitely saw some things I want for my home. Easygoing atmosphere and an engaging, friendly owner. I'll be back!

I follow on IG and finally had the opportunity to go inside. The shop is amazing and so welcoming and the owner was so friendly and really knew her vendors, she was able to tell me about a local vendor (that I also follow on IG), you can tell that they really pride themselves on local... and of course I made a purchase!

Hands-down, one of my favourite stores to shop in Port Hope! This boutique-style shopping experience has so much to offer including an incredible, curated-selection of vintage clothing and homewares, hand-crafted wooden goods like charcuterie boards made at the Tall Birches farm just north of Port Hope, and locally-sourced home and bath products. The service and ownership are excellent and Autumn always provides an intimate and unforgettable experience. Thanks again for everything!

Autumn’s Tall Birches is the best store in Port Hope. From this lovely owner to her well picked wares, the store holds a charm that keeps me and my girls coming back! Always a bit of catch-up conversation as Autumn is so good to welcome her customers and make them feel appreciated. Whether browsing or purchasing (though how can you not find something ???!!) it is always nice to stop in TB.

Omg! This place is so cute. Autumn is such a lovely person, full of love and calmness!When you walk through the white frame doors, you’ll instantly feel a calming energy, the music is so relaxing, such a wonderful environment!She sells some amazing pieces, bird houses, supports local companies that make candles and soaps.Then there a full vintage line that she hand picks for the store!Bet you’ll leave smiling!

Tall Birches is one of my favourite spots to check out while shopping in downtown Port Hope. Autumn has curated an amazing collection of artisanal products and vintage clothes!
