Aloft Vaughan Mills

This used to be a good value hotel in Vaughan. In the last few years it’s really gone downhill. Cleanliness is important to me and they’re really missing the mark here. Dusty ledges and shelves, dirty air vents, hair and dust in the corners and along the baseboards. The shower needed a good scrub with some bleach and a tool to get into the crevices.We won’t be staying here again.

Great beds, clean rooms. Looks relatively new. Lobby" turns into a bar in the evening

Great staff . The accessible rooms were dangerous . Room 601 did not have a seat seat in the shower . Moved to room 301 the accessible seat has a seat cover of plastic, no drainage . When wet slippery very risky in particular because there is only one wall bar.I feel bad for the staff they tried so hard.The room designers need to read codes and be a bit more thoughtful

This was by far the absolute worst hotel experience I’ve had in my life ! We were with our children and woken up at 4am by the front desk night person (Priscilla ) and told to vacate the property with children ! There was some noise from rooms all around us and she decided it was our room and had the police come .The officer even told her he heard no noise from our room and she was being irrational!She then proceeded to tell us it wasn’t her problem and to sleep in the car ! Excuse me ? I’m in bed with children sleeping . The officer then proceed to try and convince her to change her mind as we weren’t being a problemShe said it’s fine we can stay at an addition $250 a night per room (we had 2) $1000 extra for nonsense .I tried to speak with front desk manager Quang Nguyen who was zero help and refused to listen to us .Avoid this hotel at all costs !

Decent hotel with modern fixtures. Pool was cold and didn’t have heat on but the gym was nice. Walls were quite thin; I could hear those above me and outside. Lots of construction nearby that I could also hear. Rooms were clean.Room I was in was a sorta weird layout but it did the job. Staff was helpful, kind and quick.

Extremely appalled at the customer service experienced during an emergency. My son wife and newborn baby went their booked a room last minute bc of a small kitchen fire at home. The fire dept gave an all clear to return home. My son and his wife had just checked in and were checking out no sooner than half hour of arrival to which the 'supervisor' displayed NO empathy or emotion to offer my son a refund. This is disgusting to say the least! To think an establishment such as The Loft- Marriott would NOT proceed to refund for non use. The young family had been displaced and opted to return to the comfort of their own home with their newborn and werent even offered any compensation terrible! Do not go there for any emergencies. The young couple was told that if they hadnt opened the door or stepped into the room only then he wouldve refunded. He also said it wasnt his job to explain hotel policy to them. The fellow was Quang Nguyen 'front office supervisor'. No remorse no empathy didnt care at all. He told them he couldnt resell the spot after they left. The room was not used at all. At all. And to add insult to injury he said if he were to give us a refund it would be charity and he is not giving stuff out for free'" as IF he is the owner... like that is such a rude statement! They werent asking to stay for free they were given a green light to return home from the fire dept.

Don’t waste your time or money going here. The customer service is absolutely horrible, Priscilla specifically. Showed up to the hotel just to find out that my reservation was cancelled and then proceeded to try and charge my card twice. I asked how can you charge me for a room and I haven’t even checked in physically? Their excuse was the hotel was booking and they needed to charge me in advance. I’ve never been to one hotel that has charged me before I arrive UNLESS I do mobile check-in an opt for a mobile key in which I would have access to my room without having to go to front desk. Don’t even bother asking for a manager either because they don’t care. Very entitled people.

Newer, lovely bar and pool table. Beds were great! As they are on the harder side which is perfect. Small hotel close to the mall for ease. Not a lot of restaurants near by within walking distance- but fast food.Loved my stay. Staff friendly and inviting.

It has a great modern feel and the rooms are spacious and sound proof. With kids with us it was a nice place to stay. They had a play area with pool table and onsite snack bar available all the time. Its location is the best thing about it, you can walk to the Vaughn Mills mall right from the hotel. The reason for 4 stars is the room fixtures though modern looking were not clean with a thick layer of dust on them. Also the safe in the room was not working and there is no closed cupboards to put your stuff away. Overall still a great place to stay.
