Great Chinese restaurant! Every time we order takeout from here, everything is always hot and fresh. The best part is that the portions are great and you get a lot of food for your money. We only need to order two main dishes and rice (included) for two people, and we're fully satisfied, but the variety on their menu is so tempting, we usually order more. This time we had: Singapore rice noodle, Dragon and Phoenix, Mongolian beef. We've tried a variety of dishes from their menu and everything is always delicious.The quality of the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place!

Bin Hai is the best! The couple that owns the store are always super friendly when I come in and always accommodate me with huge smiles and warm welcomes. The food is absolutely delicious. I work near by and always grab food from here for my lunch or dinner. The main dish I always get is the Large Beef Fried Rice cooked in the spicy oil, although I have other favorites as well. Their Chicken Noodle Soup, Beef w/ Garlic Sauce, and the Combination Fried Rice (Spicy) are all lovely and fill me up every time. Not to mention the amount of food they put into the containers. The service from the lovely couple and the amazing food are worth the trip! You will not be disappointed.

Food is fresh and hot. In a blink of an eye everything was on my table. Mongolian beef was a nice dish. Spring rolls are crispy and delicious. Price is fair and affordable. Service is good.

Great American Chinese mom & pop restaurant with limited seating. When I arrived to pick up food, the front entrance seemed closed.I had an orange chicken lunch with pork fried rice. For an overall comparison, I'd compare them to be roughly on par with China Style (Hunan) over by Lake Zurich.The food arrived hot and steamy. The orange chicken actually tasted like there was orange in it instead of some kind of overly sweet syrup. There's fair portions for the price, but I'd personally bump up the pricing for the sake of passing that $10 CC limit. (For convenience) I'd also invest just a little bit more on the plastic utensils, but you do you.I opted into having some spicy pork fried rice but I think I might've been unlucky today. It's less spicy than lao gan ma. Pretty tasty though, the side noodles were a great addition to lap up the rest of the orange chicken sauce.

Ordered the Orange Chicken because of the great reviews. I was highly disappointed. The chicken was in big and chewy chunks. It was way undercooked. It was not crispy like it mentioned on the menu. Will not be ordering from here again.

Placed my order today 8/28/22 @ 3:44 p.m. to be ready by 5:15. Went to the rest at 5:15 food wasn't ready. 8 people were waiting the duration while I was there, some an hr or more. The young kid at the desk said at 5:35 my order was ready but the woman needed to pack it. Ended up waiting till 5:50. Woman came out and said your order was done long time ago, someone must've taken it. Ridiculous! If you can't fulfill an order or on time just be honest. I was there for almost an hr and saw the orders being confirmed by you or the kid. Door Dash stated it was never processed in the system. Sticking with Golden Star, never disappoints.

CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! Just got takeout here for the 1st time & let me tell you it did not disappoint! The tofu eight delight is my new favorite dish. The orange chicken is also a must - made with real oranges. This food was made with love & I will be back!The woman who does the take out orders was very friendly & made sure that everything was taken care of correctly with my order :)

Told me 40 min, took almost 1.5 hrs. I would have not been mad if told me 1.5 hrs. Hot and sour soup good, rest of dishes we got had no flavor, very bland.

Impressive first visit. Really Good, fresh tasting Chinese! Ordered veggie egg rolls, Singapore Noodles (veggie), and Veggie Fried Rice.Pros: Great vegetarian choices and adaptations. Great service and good portions.Cons: None
