Low stock on fish, but considering the store just opened back up from lockdown. My kids are happy and the staff was great dealing with them.

All my fish died. Upon getting home I noticed one with ick. Being over an hout away I immediatly called to give them a heads up so they could address the problem there. The return policy I was told was 50% within 48 hours by a less than helpful staff member.I chose to treat myself but was to late. It spread.The tanks there are all linked to the same filtration system so it is no wonder. I should have known better. Meanwhile I went to the Renfrew location. Much nicer friendlier and cleaner no problem with the fish or service. I am 50+ years in fish so I know what I am doing regards to safely keeping fish.

My dogs and cat love their food. When i had rats, ferrets and fish, i would buy everything they need from there. Fish were always healthy. Never had issue. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable om their pets they do sell and more. Only complaint, i wish they sold more dog leashes, harnesses, collars, bed, toys etc so i could spend my money at one pet shop instead of two. Love Ricks!

We enjoy coming here for our animals needs. Customer service is always great and we are welcomed with open arms. Prices are comparable to most pet stores. They have a large selection of products from fish, reptiles and fur babies needs. Staff are very knowledgeable and were a great help when we started our fish community. We bring our pup and they always welcome her in and give her lots of love!

We were in the store 2 days ago and bought 5 fish (2 glow tetras and 3 balloon mollies). Today, we found 2 of them dead in the tank, and the fish we had previously from a different store was also dead. The water is testing fine, and the temperature is good. Which leads us to believe that the fish we bought from Rick's carried something into our tank. We are extremely disappointed and will not be buying fish from here again. We should have listened to the warnings people gave us.

The crestie I saw at this location seemed healthy! Clear, bright eyes, good weight, and had many places to hide.The other animals seemed well taken care of as well and the woman working the front was very kind :)Limited bird food selection though!

Would have been a higher rating but the tall red hair girl with the mask isn't very pleasant and doesn't seem like she wants to work but overall great place food for the critters and and fish

Luv this place! I come up cottaging in Eganville and come to Pembroke for my leopard geckos fresh crickets. Excellent customer service.
