Loachs Walking Trail
This trail is 'groomed' during the winter. Easy walking for all, probably 40 minutes from Loach Road to the university campus. I did notice some cross country ski trails along side the walking trail.

The gravel road is well maintained. The scenic view is quite scenic. There are little side trails you can take if you'd like to enjoy the scenic view in more detail. On one side, your right side walking towards the University, the scenic scene gives way to a lake with a beach and if timed right you can even throw a sunset in there. Oddly great for dates. On your left side of the trail, you will find what would seem to be an endless forestry of Boreal type trees. If you take a trail into the scene of coniferous and spruce trees, some odd maples and chestnuts here and there, you will hit the ski trails, or, get lost in a very real endless forestry of wild nature in it's works. I knew a lady that would go pick edible mushrooms on that trail but I would disadvise any non mycete saves to do this. Or really anyone, leave the mushrooms alone and don't forget! This is a conservation area.

This trail is an urban gem. It has it all: calmness, trees, birds and water. The nice thing is that you don't have to leave town to enjoy it. You can walk it, bike it or ski it in the winter. Plus its part of a network that can take you from the south end to the university, Moonlight beach, the hospital or Science North.

Pretty beautiful and well populated walking trail. Comes out at the University or if you take some of shoots near a golf course. Can turn off to a cozy little beach too if you want!

Loachs Walking Trail
Nice trail for a nice walk and unload all your stress and stop by the small lake and just sit and relax and listen to the silence except for the beautiful birds chirping sounds of squirrels rustling around on the ground foraging for food and in the trees birds singing a nice tune in now that's a perfect way to relieve your anxieties and unloading stress. And to make the day even more perfect is to have lunch with your buddy you had just met on the trail and to be surprised he supplied the lunch. It was sausage on a bun filled with cheese and mustard. I hope I bump into him again next time and he provides same lunch again.

Loachs Walking Trail
Well maintained trail leading from Loach's Road to back of Laurentian University Sports Centre. Different trails also loop across backwoods as well. Small beach area can be accessed too.

Loachs Walking Trail
It was a wide trail perfect to walk and cycle. There are a couple of loops and a lookout where you can watch downtown
