Crimson Teas
I was running errands when I decided to stop by Crimson Teas just because I wanted to get something quick to eat. Upon arrival, the shop was quiet, and was pleased to see so many seating options for what I thought was a small shop (it is quite spacious inside).Phil greeted me with such warmth and was excited to hear it was my first time here. He went through the options on the menu and was super patient and helpful with my questions and when asking for recommendations. Unfortunately due to closing his shop a while ago (due to being attacked by students) the menu has been simplified to keep up as he works alone most of the time.I ordered the chicken and pork with tea noodles ($15.50 before tip/tax and it was a 9/10) & such a comforting soup and I loved the tea noodles being super chewy! The portion was perfect and came with milk tea (which is such a steal for the price it came with).Phil was greeted by so many regular customers, and he takes the time to connect with each person and make them feel at home. He shared a bit of his story with me and explained really enjoyed my time here and will be here again to purchase the teas that were recommended to me. Thank you Phil, if it could give you extra stars I would!

Such a unique dining experience! As a regular tea drinker, I was first attracted by the name of the place, and found myself pleasantly surprised by the quality of tea here and how it's creatively incorporated into the menu items. The noodle soup combo came with brewed tea, which was organic, and very refreshing. The broth was super flavourful. They definitely didn't skimp on the ingredients, which is a rare find in this day and age. I was told that the noodle was made fresh in the restaurant, with tea as the liquid ingredient. What a great idea!Overall, I find this place relaxing and friendly. Highly recommended!

I got the pork noodles to dine in and the noodles in particular were the most perfect texture. The dish was simple with a porkchop, egg, and yu choy, but was so carefully put together and had great flavour and balance. It came with tea and I got a black pu er which was excellent and a generous portion. The price was very reasonable, this place is great value and the server was so kind and considerate.

So wonderful to be back at Crimson Teas. This is one of my go-to places in Chinatown - the owner, Phillip Chan, is incredibly friendly, and the food is top-notch. Right now they offer rice/noodle options, which you can pair with meats and vegetables and also comes with tea on the side. Phillip places great emphasis on healthy eating - the noodles are tea noodles, and the rice is nutritious purple grain rice! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing. Phil is the kindest man but he makes a mean bowl of noodle soup! The noodles appear hand made and are infused with tea. The noodle soup bowl comes with three (!) types of meat (chicken, pork and beef), an egg and vegetables, along with a cup of the best milk tea in the city - for a grand total of $10?!! Everything is on point here - quality, quantity and value. I intend to come here at least once a week from now on.Also, Phil is the only Canadian distributor of a special satay sauce (see spoon in picture), and it is delectable.Run, don’t walk, to Crimson Teas.

The owner, Phillip is very nice and friendly. I ordered the black tea noodle with chicken. The noodle was al dente and the soup taste good. I love their HK style milk tea, Philip told me that they use Sri Lanka black tea that's why it smell so well. It is the best milk tea in Toronto! Will come back again.

Absolutely adorable hole in the wall café with great noodles and stellar service. The owner is so friendly and super sweet, and the whole place has a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Braised beef noodles are phenomenal too, with a massive portion for a student-friendly price, and the HK milk tea is top notch! 多謝晒!

The owner was so nice and accommodating, making sure that we were satisfied and had our fill after the meal. He makes an amazing bowl of noodles that tastes so authentic and homemade. He also places a very strong emphasis on the quality of ingredients and how nutritious the food is so you can be sure that you're getting a really good meal in all aspects. Everything there from the noodles to the milk tea is made in-house which further contributes to the taste and quality of the food. I have visited this place on multiple occasions and have never been disappointed!

Highly recommend this hidden gem and words cannot describe the love and attention that's evident in Philip's cooking and the attentive service provided by his sister! Apologies for gobbling up the fried egg and the Gai lan before remembering to take a photo of the dish! This is the Satay stir fry with beef and fresh pineapple with rice. It's is delectable and the satay sauce cannot be found anywhere else, as Crimson tea is the exclusive importer! Also that cup of bone broth was cooked for 48 hours at 90C with sous vide method!! All the nutrients can be tasted and its like no other. As an acupuncturist, I suggest many of my clients to drink bone broth and the amount time Philip has spent on R&D of perfecting his bone broth is mind blowing!! I'd eat every meal here, if humanly possible!
