Prim Peony Event Co

We came across Prim Peony after a Google search 7 months before our wedding date! We were in a scramble to find a new venue due to covid and issues with our previous venue. I chatted with Sam and they just happened to have our original date available so we booked it right away. Sam & Thomas were an absolute dream to work with and their property was the most perfect back drop for our day. They were very accommodating and super easy to work with considering we had many hurdles to jump through with the constant changing of covid restrictions that were being thrown at us! The food by Thomas, The In Home Chef, was to die for! Everything tasted absolutely amazing, we had guests non stop raving about the food! The whole day was perfect from start to finish, the staff and service was top notch. When I think of a perfect wedding venue, I think of Prim & peony. And I mean it. I came to them 2 weeks before my scheduled wedding date in hopes they could host our wedding, And they welcomed us with open arms and hearts as they were SO accommodating, and so kind. The food was delicious (the owner is the chef and his brisket is incredible! ) the servers were so kind, and Thomas and Sam were a delight to deal with. Our wedding reception was so perfect thanks to them! If you are looking for a wedding venue with a beautiful barn, and picturesque scenery look no more because you have found the one. This place will always hold a special place in our hearts, thank you again Thomas & Sam for your hospitality, generosity, and kindness. We cannot recommend you guys enough, and we cannot wait to come next year to attend your cooking class, Cheers!

Beautiful venue, incredible food, and somehow even better service. I don’t have a single complaint about our wedding day. I was actually continuously surprised and impressed with the staff! Thomas, Sam and Ashley were all an absolute pleasure to work with. Highly highly reccomend!

Sam and Tom really went the full mile with us in helping to plan our wedding. They paid special attention to the little details that made our at home wedding feel like it was in a hall! Thank you for making my vision come to life. The food by the in home chef was absolutely amazing. Well balanced, thoughtful plates appetizers and dessert which fit all of our diet restrictions. I would recommend these guys for any event, birthday, anniversary, dinner and weddings. They can do it all!

We cannot say enough about our experience with Sam and Thomas at Prim Peony. We recently hosted our small wedding there and it was the perfect venue! The weather was beautiful for our outside ceremony, but we also had the option for an inside ceremony if the weather didn't cooperate.All of the staff involved were kind and efficient and the food was delicious. Sam and Thomas were professional and accommodating to requests we had throughout the planning process. We highly recommend booking Prim Peony!

Sam and Thomas are the dream team.We first visited Prim Peony two years ago, shortly after Sam and Thomas began developing their venue. The vision they had for their property was a rural event space that matched what we envisioned for our wedding. Two years on, and Prim Peony has become so much more than we had anticipated. The rustic barn comfortably held our large wedding for dinner, the back patio is lit perfectly for late night dancing, and it’s been impressive to watch Sam and Thomas develop their event space to include amenities such as: a wood fired oven for evening snacks, a permanent arbor that frames the corn field behind the property, and a vegetable garden that Thomas utilizes in his catering (In Home Chef).Sam and Thomas were incredibly accommodating in the lead up to our wedding. Each idea we proposed for either large scale decorations or difficult to find craft beers was met with a solution to make it happen. They went above and beyond at every turn. Throughout the planning process Sam and Thomas were great to communicate with, responding our emails quickly and allowing us to stop by the venue on several occasions to take measurements and see how tables would look when set up.On the day of the wedding, everything went off perfectly. Sam and Thomas have surrounded themselves with a team of professionals who are great at what they do. The day of manager, Ashley, was a dream to work with. She was on the ball of who needed to be where, at what time, to ensure everything ran smoothly, and navigated some last minute obstacles with ease. Our only job was to take in the day and enjoy ourselves.The rest of the Prim support team took care of the transitions flawlessly, moving decorations around the venue, setting up appetizers and dessert, and clearing empty plates and glasses quickly. At the end of the night, when we were dreading the next days clean up, we were informed all decorations had already been prepared for us to simply load into the truck. Everything we could have hoped for was taken care of, we could not think of a better experience.

Attended a wedding here last week. The property and facilities are absolutely gorgeous, and it was a perfect size space to accommodate our group (about 100 people) The staff were friendly and professional. Would absolutely consider recommending this venue!

I had the pleasure of working at Prim Peony Event Co. for the first time this past weekend. I cannot say enough great things!From a Wedding Planner's perspective, Sam and Thomas were an absolute dream. They made our quick planning experience so simple and they were so positive and accommodating. My clients were unfortunately left without a venue 6 weeks before their wedding date, as COVID-19 forced their original venue to remain closed. I searched through hundreds of outdoor venues, looking for a venue that could accommodate our guest count outdoors, that was still available for August 29, 2020 and that fit my client's vision. I have dealt with Thomas in the past (he is a phenomenal caterer!) so I reached out to inquire about his upcoming event space. Right from the beginning, he was so accommodating and he did everything in his power to offer us what we originally had at the first venue. We were so appreciative and it was an easy decision to select Prim Peony!With now only 4 weeks until the wedding, it was a quick process to select the menu, finalize floor plans and get all of our details into place. They even allowed us to have a food tasting on extremely short notice which really put my client's minds at ease. Thomas and Sam were always available to take my calls and we managed to work very quickly to get the wedding re-planned!The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect. Thomas, Sam and their staff were amazing to work with. The food was delicious and the service was so efficient. We even managed to get 30 minutes ahead of my projected timeline, regardless of a late ceremony start. Thomas and Sam were both on site all day and they remained very available and accommodating all the way until the last minute.I could go on and on about everything they did for this couple in the 4 weeks that they were with us, but I don't want to write an entire novel! The venue was the perfect choice and the wedding turned out even better than we could ever have imagined. In the words of the bride... This wedding was nothing liked I planned but it was exactly what I wanted". We could not have asked for a better experience than what we received with Prim Peony Event Co.
