The Captain's Boil
Plenty of parking in the attached parking lot. Handicapped accessible parking and entrance. The food was super tasty and the portion was good. Now the prices are dependent on what time of seafood you are getting. We shared a large portion between 4 men and we were all full when we left but it was about $50-60/person for the experience.

We came here for my Dad’s birthday. The staff was very friendly. They let us bring our own cake and they provided plates and forks. Overall, food and service was great! Kid friendly too

Best in London, ON by far. Do not think of your diet if you happen to visit this amazing place. I just love their sauces, it is a concoction of premium spices and butter that makes it perfect! Always be my and my family’s fave spot whenever i am in London.

Was a great place. 1st time here. It's an experience I'll tell you. Everything was cooked to perfection. Had oysters, clam and shrimp combo. It was a distance to go to buy we'll worth it.

The Captain's Boil
I want to preface my review that we had been looking forward to visiting Captain's Boil for months and we're looking forward to dining here when we came from out of town. Probably my first clue that we were in for a letdown was that they were at 10% capacity on a Friday evening. And now I know why.The service was the worst experience I have had in memory.Despite needing to repeat our order multiple times, they still botched it.Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, it seemed their sole intent was to rush us out of there in 15 minutes or less. They brought out our wine, appies, and boil all at the exact same time.As you should expect from a boil, its a pretty messy experience. Aside from simple customary practice, it would have been common sense to let us enjoy our wine and appies for a bit first before bringing out the boil.Despite twice requesting and reminding on splitting the bill (based on how poorly they took our order we felt the need to repeat) and they still had to correct our bill after it came to the table.I don't think I have ever not left a tip.I just feel even if service is mediocre, I am always inclined to give benefit of doubt and recognize the effort of staff that are generally underpaid i always leave at least 15% or 20%.To not tip is a big deal for me. When I left no tip for their awful rushed 15 minutes" of service in which we had to repeatedly correct issues

Cool little spot located on Oxford and wonderland. If you are looking for a unique experience and aren't scared of getting messy come to Captain's Boil. The service was slow and average but this would not deter me from coming back.

Food was good. Liked the shrimp basket. Everything was cooked well and hot. Only thing is they laughed at me when I asked for cocktail sauce ( shrimp sauce) they serve the battered shrimp with ketchup and tartar on the side. I told them this threw me off and I prob wouldn't come back because that's my favourite part of eating shrimp.

Seats and ceiling are ripped off. It appeared they don't care the maintenance any more. We asked for their drink menu and the man who served our table almost threw the menu paper. Ice water was served in disposable paper coffee cups. The service was really rough. However the food was amazing. We had clam, mussels and shrimp. Captains boil sauce was finger licking tasty. I would come back for take out sometimes. If you are looking for a good service with your partner or family in a good atmosphere, this is not the place.
