West End BIA

How can you call it west end bia When you can't even help small businesses that are not located on Davie and denman. Really??? Arent we included in westend neighborhood just coz we are on Burnaby st.. ridiculous. Not happy at all that they only help businesses located on 2 streets. Negative starsssssssssssss

I love how clear the City of Vancouver is about what businesses contribute to the West End BIA (The BIA map on the COV website is very user friendly). The additional special property taxes that those contributing businesses/property owners pay are well worth the return. The staff and board members are all very friendly and helpful. The networking events held at rotating businesses are extremely useful events where everyone can contribute to the local community. Sorry to hear that some businesses outside the jurisdiction of the West End BIA (that do not pay those special property taxes) are unable to leverage the strength of the West End BIA representing hundreds of property owners/tenants.
