My husband and I were looking for appliances for our new home and didn't want to spend a lot. I found their shop on Google and when I entered didn't expect what I saw.This store was the cleanest place I have ever gone into. The employees were literally cleaning the appliances and it put a smile on both our faces.We spoke to Alejandro and Oscar the owner, both were very professional and helpful. Wegot our products delivered the same day. We will be getting all our appliances from there.

I went to Ortega at 5 p.m yesterday to look for a refrigerator for my tenants after theirs stopped working. Junior, the owner, took the time to show me what was available and was not only super helpful and pleasant but set up delivery for the very next day which was an absolute huge deal for me as I did not want to leave my tenants without a refrigerator for too long. He came through big time! Delivery when promised, he took the old fridge away and the price was very fair! I’ve dealt with other used appliance stores and Ortega was definitely a much better experience!!! Thanks junior!

I went to Ortega for solutions when my dryer stopped working (as 3 households use it, it was urgent). I ended up purchasing a refurbished dryer for a very reasonable fee which Ortega Appliances delivered with an extended 1-year warrantee. But more amazing is that Junior's team crafted a stacking kit for these behemoth appliances on the spot (my washer was stackable, but the old dryer wasn't) and stacked these for me. This opened up the entrance to the basement and improved my life exponentially. I am so glad they have moved into my neighbourhood. (Picture included so you can imagine the improvement from when appliances were side by side --top appliance from Ortega).

We purchased a small GE fridge (28) which was gently used. They didn't have in stock but in a matter of a few days sourced a fridge. The price was very fair and they delivered it promptly later the same day with a 1 yr warranty! A wonderful transaction and purchase experience. We recommend Ortega Services in North York."

Bought a washing machine from Ortega appliances. When negotiating for the machine I wanted they said “absolutely not” because “it would break the set”. These machines are over 10 years old and I had to pay an extra 200$! My washer broke down and I wanted to buy the same machine again to have a matching set!! I said fine. I got a different machine but in the same colour. When it arrived it was fine but then I realized that the seal was broken, not a big deal since it was around the water jet which didn’t affect it much so I said fine and just ignored it, THEN I sniffed and I almost threw up! It reeked of bleach and it wasn’t even cleaned properly! There’s mildew and HAIR all around the rubber seal. There’s also hard water stains which they didn’t even care to try and take off. If I could give this review a 0 I would but that’s not possible so I give it a ONE. Will never be buying again. Oh and did I mention that it was even more broken apon use? They refused to even fix it! Will be having my lawyer in contact.
