The staff at the park were incredible assisting with relocating families displaced by hurricane Fiona. Thanks to everyone at headquarters and the visitor center for being so accommodating and helpful.

This was a nice spot although a bit remote if you're not well prepared. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were at site 9 which was a three way, pul through site. The fire pit at site 9 faces the woods so when it's dark there's nothing to see, which was very peaceful. The campground was very quiet. The bathrooms were clean and the washer and dryer weren't too far, although it is $3 each to wash and dry and there is a warning about the mineral level of the water possibly discolouring light coloured clothes.Alma is just a short drive. It's a great spot to get live or cold lobster. Also, it's a good place to observe thre high and low tides and check out the lobster boats coming and going.Hopewell Rocks is about a 40 minute drive and it is definitely the place to see the magnitude of the tides. Moncton is about an hour and 20 minutes. The closest small grocery store is about 10-15 minutes past Hopewell Rocks. The 114 coming in from the west is horrific to drive. If it is an option to come in from the east, you'll be much happier, especially towing a trailer!

Our go-to campground when at Fundy National Park. This campground offers amenities for all types of campers (Tenting, RV, Motorhome). Also has oTentik's, which is essentially a cabin that you can rent. All that you need is your camping gear (including food) minus the tent. Chignecto has a decent size Parc for kids which seems to be quite a hit amongst the young ones. The campground is nearby other attractions such as biking trails (across the highway from campground) a golf course (down the hill towards Wolfe point campground) and a vast variety of hiking trails for all types of hikers.Forgot a few things? Not to worry, Alma is just outside the Fundy National Park (5 min ride from Chignecto) where you can find a convenience store / gas station and a few restaurants & local brewery (Holy Whale).Enjoy your stay!!!

Amazing camp sites. Centrally located to all the hiking trails. Clean, peaceful and spacious sites. Site was almost completely level only a little front back needed. Toilets, community rooms and showers were updated and wheelchair accessible and clean. The park space was huge for the kids to play in after our hikes. So many bike trails in the campground too! We would visit again in a heartbeat. An amazing experience!

Site 132... slightly sloped, very private. You do hear Hwy traffic from this site but it quiets down after dinner hour.Fire pit, picnic tables look brand new. It's our second night of 5. Having the best time, hubby and I are hitting the bike trails tomorrow if weather is good!Nice park for fall camping

This campground was pretty good for tent camping - there's enough trees and shrubs to keep you apart from neighbouring camps. There's sufficient access to water and power; and the washrooms, showers, and washing areas are easily accessible. There's a fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of area to fit a tent and car. Please note: even with a reserved camground, you still need a day pass that we weren't aware of right off the bat, so an extra cost when we entered the campground.

Love this campground! We had site #22. Very spacious site with a mixture of sun and shade. Private from the campsites next door. Bathrooms were super clean and showers were amazing. Staff supper friendly. They sell campfire wood for 7.50 a bag and it burns great! They also sell ice for $4.00 per bag which is very convenient. Two nice playgrounds and some walking trails.

We've been here quite a few times and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Usually come 2 or 3 times a year to camp, hard to find a bad" site. Usually lots of privacy
