I've been at this for quite a while, and after all this time i have learned how to fight but it's always so much easier to style on people with a hand spin.The teacher knows what he's doing whether you want a solid fighting stance, or a bit of style.Best start soon before you loose any more flexibility!

Wow! What a great experience :)If you want to try a unique activity integrating martial arts, gymnastics, dance, hiphop, acrobatics - then it is definitely worth it to try a class or two!! you will definitely break a sweat. Great activity for cross training in other sports or disciplines. The head instructor Reni is from Brazil, was scouted to come teach this amazing hidden gem of an art in Edmonton. Great instructor, friendly, welcoming and forgiving!

Great full body workout, for movement, strength, and flexibility. And I love that there is so much more to it than the exercise, the music keeps me going when I don't feel like exercising.

Look forward to every class by CM Reni!A must do! If you want to learn how music, dance, martial arts, and acrobatics come together, you'll want to try this! Classes mix technique instruction, full body strengthening, exercises to improve coordination, and much more. Great to increase your strength, stamina, flexibility, and knowledge of Afro-Brazilian culture!

My 7 years old has been doing capoeira with Mestre Reni since May last year and it's done wonders for her stamina, tone and self-discipline. We couldn't have hoped for kinder instructors or a warmer community. Highly recommended!
