I have already recommended Ariel to my friends! She was an amazing designer and project manager. Super responsive, great listener, and she really tackles the little hurdles well so it is a smooth experience! And, we LOVE our home that she designed for us! She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Working with Ariel has been really great. We partnered with Ariel initially to support us in determining the optimal design for our master bathroom and providing us (and our contractor) with a set of construction documents. The construction documents were more detailed and comprehensive than we would have expected. Our contractor was also pretty impressed with the quality of the documents. Having the fixtures/finishes selected is an enormous help - it saves us the need to shop around and dramatically reduces the typical post purchase anxiety. Ariel has gone above and beyond answering many questions along the construction journey, a few of which were likely out of scope of our original agreement. Admittedly my partner and I are not the easiest people to work with and Ariel has definitely exceeded our expectations. We are confident she would do the same for other homeowners.We have since retained Ariel to support the design (including furniture) of our main floor. Thank you Ariel for your support - my family and I appreciate it.

We partnered with Ariel on designs for an open concept main floor, new powder room, pantry, several built ins, second floor laundry, new bathroom etc. and our experience has been exceptional! Ariel is extremely responsive, down to earth and collaborative. She provides the right amount of options to not overwhelm while still allowing for different directions/the vision to evolve. She is extremely detail oriented and also great at taking and sharing feedback as well as collaborating with other trades. Would highly recommend her to support projects big and small!

Ariel was such a pleasure to work with! We were quite overwhelmed with the task of fully furnishing our new home and she made the process so much easier for us. She was exceptionally prompt and responsive throughout all parts of the process, even as we added new elements along the way (painting, millwork etc.). Ariel/ Studio AA are awesome and we recommend them. We used them for a near total home remodel/extension. Their scope included bathrooms, a dream kitchen, family room, bedrooms and a library area. We appreciated the steps in design packages so that we could wade into the project and make staged commitments as we went instead of randomly signing up for some unknown design outcome right away.Ariel is talented and organized. She will work within your style and know how to get it exactly right and look good. We came to her with a modern, bright, arts and crafts/beaches theme that we had no idea how to pull off, but she made happen. We can see her doing well with whatever style place you have or helping you make your own to match you and your home.She sourced design solutions, items, colours, hardware of various prices all within our budget so we had several options for each chair, vanity, rug, light and built-in that matched the theme.Ariel is responsive to questions, amazing with CAD (doing the whole kitchen layout and sizing as well as a library and built ins) and can adjust things on the fly so that you can really visualize a discussion about design in real-time. She resized an entirely designed kitchen to meet an unexpected deadline in record speed.Both virtual and in-person meetings were productive and energizing. She gets as excited about the project as you are! She handles hiccups and challenges well and is very calm, which for first-time, nervous renovators and a big project, was key. We had some very strong design opinions and she learned to speak our language while also adding that designer polish we would never have had on our own. She knows exactly what tile would look good where and where to get it and who to call to get something figured out. You want the design part of your project to run perfectly and Studio AA achieved that for us.

Ariel Apter did designs for our home which included two bathrooms, a kitchen, new flooring and new electrical and lighting. Her designs have been fantastic and life changing for us.She helped us through our entire renovation process and has always been available to support us. Ariel truly went above and beyond providing help even when our asks were beyond the scope of what she was required to do. We put our full trust in her selections of all the products, tiles, lighting etc. and her choices were brilliant! Would always recommend her to anyone considering design services.
