I've booked this studio twice now for family pics, it is perfect! Viewing the calendar and booking online is easy and the owners replied to my questions right away. The space is big and bright with lots of great props and backgrounds. Big enough for the kids to play on one side while taking photos on the other side, and for group shots of all 12 of us. There is a washroom, mini fridge, and lots of chairs, so no worries about breaks and snacks.

Scott and Jeanette are my two new favourite people! I recently got engaged at their studio in Edmonton. They made this event so memorable and perfect for us I will never forget it. They even bought us an engagement gift that I use everyday!My first impression was great as Jeanette and Scott were extremely responsive in setting up the session and flushing out details especially during these crazy times. They are both very easy going and friendly people who you immediately feel comfortable with. That was the most important part for me. Their studio is nice and spacious with all the amenities that you would need to have a fun and successful photo shoot. My favourite part of our experience was how involved they were in the process from the start to the finish.And they deliver when they say they are going to... I needed my professional headshots in less than a 24 hours and I received them the next morning.The best part of our experience is the photos and VIDEO we will have for the rest of our lives. They are absolutely flawless and capture our true expressions of joy and love and for that I will be forever grateful to Scott and Jeanette.Book them for your next session, you will not regret it!

We booked this event studio for my daughter's baby shower. The room was clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for my 30 guests and easily would hold more. The decor was beautiful. The manager responded to all my messages quickly. Would rent this space again. Thank you so much.

I booked Shadow Box Studios to shoot for my women's fashion company, The Plain Classics. It was my first time booking them, and it was by far a superior experience than other studios I have booked in the past. I was greeted by Fontaine, who had unlocked the studio for me (which was a HUGE help, I had a ton of clothing items AND a baby with me to carry in). The studio itself has a ton of natural light and is a nice large space to shoot in. I purchased white background to use for shooting, but there was also furniture props and a wooden background we used to shoot as well. I'll definitely be rebooking in the near future. Amazing space with so much different vibes and aesthetics that is sure to work for everyone’s vision. The staff are super friendly and they make sure the place is sparkling clean, stocked with little treats, tea, coffee, napkins... There’s a vanity mirror with lights, different seating choices, and different wall backgrounds. We didn’t use them but I think they have the option to use backdrops as well if needed. Great place, highly recommend it for any photography purposes.

Booked the studio to host a bridal shower. It’s a great space for small events, the booking process was super easy, and the studio was set up for us with tables and chairs before our arrival. The manager was also very helpful and quick to answer any questions! Shadow Box Studios was perfect for our private event, and I’ll definitely be booking again in the future!

We hired Shadow Box Studios to take corporate headshots on site at our office location. Fontaine was super accommodating and really easy to work with it. He kept the atmosphere lighthearted and made the experience super fun. He is extremely knowledgeable and the shots turned out great!

What is there NOT to write about this studio. It was perfect for portraits. Verstatile space, amazing customer service. Fontaine is incredible. I hadn't worked with the style of lighting they had available... not only was it insanely easy to use, but Fontaine was there and ready for me to make sure I was comfortable using it. Super easy to understand, had an amazing session. My session was in the evening and as a mostly natural light shooter I'm telling you, it was fantastic. The seamless paper and set up was everything I could ask for. I can't wait to work here again. 100 billion percent recommend. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Could not recommend this place more!My experience with Shadow Box Studios in Edmonton was exceptional; their quality is above and beyond. Booking with them took no time at all and the prices were quite reasonable.I could tell from photographs that it was a lovely location, and though the outside is unassuming, their space is perfect. It is wide open, clean, diverse, and intuitive. It was set up to be effective and useful, and it shows. When I arrived, everything was as described. Set up was quick and easy because things were already in place. There was the cutest set-up for my models to prepare at, and lots of good workstations that could also double as props in the shooting area. There was a welcoming note inviting us to use the space and clear easy instructions. Everything you could need was there: a mini fridge with water was provided, lots of space, lots of outlets for your devices. They even left a Starbucks gift card in thanks, something I did not expect but so nice on a long day to have a coffee paid for!The little touches really sold me on this studio. From the gift card, to a personalized welcome on the door, and even Scotts availability by text to answer questions and trouble shoot - none of this was expected but it demonstrated incredible customer care.If you have any doubts, throw them away, because this is a wonderful studio that will live up to your expectations.
