Second time I've purchased a car through 5th Avenue Volkswagen. James Anglin our sales guy Amazing... I can't say enough good thing's about this man I asked many questions lot's of questions about our new Tiguan he answered them all. He wasn't pushy was very kind and had my vehicle ready to go the next day. Like I said before if you want a good dealership that doesn't rip you off or send you on a while goose chase look no further 5th Avenue is the place for you.

When you choose Fifth Ave VW, you become part of the family. I have been a happy customer here for almost 2 decades. Today I purchased an amazing vehicle and could not have received better service! From ordering in the car of my dreams through to clearly explaining all the bells and whistles before leaving the lot, everyone stepped it up. Thanks to Lee, Mac the Dereks, Carl and Pat; I keep coming back and recommend this dealership to everyone!

I went to test drive Volkswagen Tiguan 2023 and felt it is expensive compared to the other cars in this segment. I told the salesperson I don't want to buy this car. Then he said I could do something then he had a word with the sale manager and come back and said we could give you a discount of around $3000 on this car. Then decided to move forward and applied for a loan. After getting approval car was ready for pickup and on the day I go to pick up my new car they suddenly change everything and said you need to pay $3000. I was shocked at that time, then I realized how they scam people. Maybe some people don't want to go back without buying a car. But I took the decision not to buy a car and save myself from this scam. Please beware don't trust the sale manager. I think he is responsible for this scam. Firstly he accepted to give a discount and on the delivery day, he come and said I didn't give any discount. Once again think twice before going to this place strongly disagree with the service and the way they treat customers. Finally, I brought a car the same day from another dealership.

An absolute A+ for amazing customer service. I brought my vehicle in for service and had to have it back by a certain time to make an vet appointment. Once he found out about my timing, service advisor Patrick McAuley went out of his way to make sure my vehicle was ready on time, called me with updates and just genuinely seemed to care about making sure I made it to the appointment. I was also very pleasantly surprised that they just fixed what was actually wrong with my vehicle instead of providing a laundry list of unnecessary repairs. I haven't had an experience at a dealership like that before and I will absolutely be back. Thank you Patrick and team for making my day a lot easier!

Really glad I went to this location to purchase my new vehicle. First looking at cars and then pricing, Alex and James were very knowledgable and helpful. I was going to get my regular service done here and this being my fifth year at this dealership. I called in to book a service and was given the wrong pricing, I ended up paying 3x more than what I was advised. And then I also ended up doing some repair work that was covered under warranty and some were not. I ended paying close to $1800 with an invoice that didn’t explain anything clearly or justify the warranty covered costs. I was disappointed with the whole experience but that’s the cost of maintaining your car at a dealership so I let it pass. Guess what, it happened the second time in a row, I called in to book a wheel alignment , only to be given incorrect pricing again. Once I arrived for my appointment I was hesitant to proceed since I already had wasted my time coming to the dealership. I advised the service coordinator about my frustration and this experience and was offered a 10% discount. I requested this to be escalated to the service manager but instead I was pointed to pay my bill at the counter with no acknowledgments of my experience which aggravated me even further that no one at this dealership cares. I asked to speak to the service manager who eventually showed up. Carl Cress who didn’t seem to have a clue about my experience who did nothing , didn’t even have an ounce of empathy or respect for my time or for being a loyal customer. I was planning to purchase my next vehicle here but rest assured they will not be getting any further business from me.

I have always used these guys in the past and I have always been happy. But I have to say that my most recent experience here was horrendous. I ordered a replacement key for my GTI but the parts department ordered the wrong one—they ordered it for an older model I used to own that they still had on file. After the service dept realized the mistake (because the ordered key wouldn’t work), I went to ask the parts dept about it. The guy behind the counter blamed me for it and said I should have known that this was for the wrong VIN—one for an older GTI I used to own. First of all, when ordering the key they should have confirmed that the car they had on file from 10 years ago wasn’t the one I was there about. And second, even if I had known they were ordering the key for wrong year of car, how am I supposed to know that these keys that all look identical are drastically different year to year? Insulting treatment. What happened to “apologize and make it right”?The only reason this is a two-star rating instead of one is because the service guy (Pat) figured out the mistake and apologized for it profusely. He was embarrassed about the treatment I received and assured me he’d get things corrected.So … it’s a 1-star for the waste of half my day and rude treatment and it’s a 5-star to Pat.(Reply to this review missed the point. Mistakes happen—it’s blaming the customer for it that isn’t cool. However … I do appreciate the fact that there was a response. That’s a good sign.)

The buying experience was smooth. James was excellent. He took my needs and asks into consideration and did not try and push something on me that I did not want. Going as far as to even let me see the vehicle before agreeing to buy it. James kept me upto date and was honest and true to his timeline.Derek the delivery coordinator was excellent too. His enthusiasm for VW is infectious. He was thorough and took his time explaining everything to me. Eventhough I was the last delivery of the day and was almost closing time, I did not feel rushed.Also to add unlike other VW dealerships that wanted me to pay a market adjustment for 4000 dollars. Fifth avenue charged exactly what was on their website.Will definitely recommend Fifth Ave VW
