Honestly worst groomer to exist in Calgary. She is not accommodating she just wants to take a quick easy route out and shaves your dog down completely... the only hair she leaves in on my dogs tail even though I asked for his tail to be trimmed. Not only this but, shortly after my dog came home from his grooming appointment with Britney, he would not open his eye and was screaming in pain. Her carelessness caused my dog to develop a corneal ulcer which can only happen if something sharp makes contact with the eye. When I explained to her the situation she refused to take any sort of accountability. It was pretty clear she had done something because before the appointment he was fine and as soon as he came home after the appointment he was in pain. I did not acknowledge the bad reviews on her page but do not make the same mistake I did. Please avoid at all costs, keep your doggo safe.

I moved into the Thorncliffe area in 2001 one of the first things our family needed to do was to set up services with our family (dogs too) and since a car might not be available, we wanted one close to home, and by one of our neighbors at the time told us about My Pets.I had been told also that their services were how can I put this...not great still I wanted to see for myself and gave them a shot, the dog we had at the time a (bichon-frise please excuse the spelling, its been awhile) breed (Rosie) and wasn't exactly comfortable getting serviced and explained how she may behave and that if there was a problem to contact me right away.When I returned home, I was expecting to be contacted right away, but to my surprise that call never came, when I got there I was pleasantly surprised, she did the job exactly as was given to be done, also she was done early due to a cancellation of another client.Now, I know some people have had issues with staff and the jobs they did with other pets, my answer to those, maybe your setting your expectations too high but everyone has an opinion and that's the right of the customer, not everyone is going to be perfect. What I do know is in the twenty plus years I have been useing them I have been satisfied with the job they do (maybe somewhat high prices on some services but with inflation up in everything we do after the pandemic of the past few years, all businesses are hurting somewhat and thats just par for the course. I have no complaints with any of their services and can recommend them highly.

Brought both my dogs to Brittany early this week and she did a wonderful job on both. They desperately needed grooming after my regular groomer closed due to Covid. I'll be returning when my dogs are in need of another cut. She's professional and friendly and treated my dogs very well.

I love supporting local small business. Owner seems quite young and laid back. Have taken my old lumpy dogs a few times and they’ve always had lots of nicks upon return. Prices are decent but I’ll look for a groomer who can take more time with senior dogs.

First time going here the other day, got my dog in their within a week and they were quick, pleasant and professional. i have a big dog that I've been getting groomed for 7 years and they did the best job by far! Pics are before and after!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We have told Brittany the two times we visited that that we do not want our dog shaved down but she responds with we will discuss our options" and doesn't give any options and instead does what she want and chooses to shave our dog down. The second time

I recently brought both of my dogs in for a groom, one of which is usually very nervous/anxious around new people and can be a lot to handle. But the owner Brittany did a fantastic job with both of them, washed and trimmed their hair, trimmed their nails and even brushed their teeth! Was very impressed with the work and how happy my nervous dog was when I picked him up! Great job! We will be back!

We took our dog for dog gromming, and deeply regret it. My dog was left hurt with cuts and bleeding. Extremely unprofessional and 0 accountability other than an apology as if that paid the medication that my dog will need.Avoiding at all costs. Never back again.

I am very cautious to leave poor reviews because I want local small business to prosper and don't want staff to get reprimanded, but in this case I feel it is necessary to leave feedback.We had a 9am appointment, I dropped my dog off a few minutes early at 8:45am. The services requested we bath, groom, nail trim and tooth brushing. This package takes most dog groomers 1.5 - 3 hours. Long story short, after 3 hours and not receiving a call, I stopped by to see how things we're going. I was told that more time was needed, and that they would call me. So I waited, for the rest of the day, I was getting concerned about my dogs well-being, so I showed up just to get my dog before they closed.When I arrived, he was still very wet. The reason we were told was that he laid in pee and had to be washed again.His coat condition prior to arrived wasn't perfect. He has a long double coat, and had some matting behind his ears which needed to be cut out. But now he also has matting in front of his tail on his back from not being dried properly.I don't know if there was a scheduling error and they were over-booked, but this service should never take close to 8 hours, it's weird and had us wondering what was going on. Then giving our long hair double coated dog back wet after a professional groom doesn't leave the customer feeling too great about the paid service. I left 2 stars and not 1 star, because the girl we delt with was friendly, and she did a nice job on the trim.If the service would have been done in a reasonable amount of time, and our dog given back fully dried, I would consider the service to be 4 stars.

Don’t bring your dog here if you care about their safety. When I picked up my dog she could not open her left eye and it was leaky. I Had to take her to the emergency vet. DO NOT IGNORE THE BAD REVIEWS. TAKE YOUR DOG SOMEWHERE SAFE AND PAY MORE IF YOU MUST. NOT WORTH RISKING THEIR VISION. The cornea ulcer my dog has could result in loss of vision… literally my young 2 year old dog almost lost an eye at this groomer. BE SMART. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The groomer even claimed my dog came in with the eye issue! Excuse me?! You cannot gaslight us! We know her eye was fine before she went in, I have photos of her from the morning of dropping my dog off at the groomer in which my dog has both eyes working fine. This is a repeat issue at this place according to other reviews. For this to occur a sharp object must have cut my dog's eye. Unnacceptable. She caused my dog pain when all she needed was a haircut. So upsetting. never again
