The cherry blossom trees were beautiful. I went there last weekend. They were just blossomed. But weekend was always busy. I also recommend people to go to Grenadier pond in High park another sakura view place. Both are great!

Hillside Park is a good spot in high park to watch sunset. Beautiful slopes down to the lake and bit of cityscape. There are multiple paths of various slants here to access lake and the maple leaf spot, encircled in bushes. It looks beautiful, in summer. At the top of it, are some benches to sit, relax and enjoy seeing sun going down. There are also some fountain pools, which I believe would look beautiful whenever they are functional. I have never seen them working, though. There is also small maze garden around the fountain pool. My daughter to lives to play in there. We would often, sit here for sometime before calling it a day in high park and then head back towards high park station and go home.Beautiful spot, overall.

This is a great hill to toboggan on. It's steep enough to go fast and if you're not careful you will fly into the circle bush at the bottom but that's better than a fence! This is also a gorgeous view looking across the water.

I visited Hillside Park to see the cherry blossoms, but unfortunately, the experience was just okay. While the park is beautiful and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, there were too many people and it was overcrowded. It was difficult to enjoy the scenery due to the rush of people. Overall, it was an average experience. If you're looking to see cherry blossoms in a serene environment, this might not be the best option for you or try going on a weekday.

Loved it. Very nice place for nature walk. A lake side garden with very beautiful scenery. There is fishing point near this garden. There are many benches placed in garden for sitting with lake view. A good place to bring kids. No public washrooms are available at site. The parking lot near this place is pay and park.
