The Balanced Bark

My dog have reactivity issues and Ginette gave me reassurance that my dog will be in good hands when she goes to daycare. They do one on one training and helped my dog socialize with other dogs. In a short period of time, I can already see improvements in her. They have the best customer service and staffs are super sweet. I will keep taking my dog here for daycare and training needs. Highly recommend!

First visit was good! Second visit wasn't very good, unfortunately. We had a more experienced groomer (mid aged woman) help us the first time, individually taking our nervous terriers in, and it went pretty smoothly. The second time, we had a seemingly less experienced (young woman) insist on taking them in at the same time, and it went very poorly. The dogs got very worked up under those circumstances and by each other's presence, and were quite vocal about it while I waited in the lobby. When they groomer came out with them, she was also visibly worked up, and went straight to questioning how we dessensitize our pups. She also said she couldn't complete the paw trim we paid for becaise they were too worked up. The way she came accross seemed a bit accusatory, but I just politely asked for advice. Upon discussing with my partner, I don't think we will be returning because of this experience.

Ginette, Melanie, and the team are great. They have helped me with my pup being nervous and troubled with new people and environments. Would never take my pup anywhere else for grooming or daycare services!

We have been using the Balanced Bark for our dog Zoey since it’s inception. The staff at this fine establishment is fantastic, and in particular Ginette and Kimi have been taking great care of Zoey for 8 years now! The prices are reasonable and competitive.In my opinion, when you leave your dog at a daycare there is nothing better than the assurance that she will be well-looked after. That satisfaction is guaranteed with the Balanced Bark!

We love the Balanced Bark for our dog! Staff are friendly and professional and go the extra mile to ensure our guy is well looked after. Ginette is a dog expert and has helped us with training. She loves animals and it shows in how the business is run - with fur babies at its core. Max did a fantastic job grooming Zeus. Despite all the matting on him she was able to leave his fur somewhat long. He’s looks awesome, and he knows it.

Ginette and her staff are amazing with the dogs . They go the extra mile. I was just in Europe and my sister in law needed our dog's vaccination records. I was having problems getting the vet to send them, but Ginette and her staff promptly took care of it. This is the place for your dog.

Ginette and her crew always provide the very best service possible. I can't picture taking my dog anywhere else.

I would like to say thank you to Ginette and Melanie and all the wonderful people there. My beautiful Maggie was groomed there and she looked absolutely beautiful. After being 17 years with me I had her groomed and she looked perfect.I tried to find groomers that would groom a toy poodle at her age and was rejected. No groomer wanted to touch her.Ginette and Melanie sympathized with my concern. I wanted my girl to feel good for her last days. That is just what they did. They treated my old girl with the utmost dignity and I loved the motto that they had, “Humanity over Vanity”. My beautiful girl passed away a week later. The sympathy and love that I received from them was touching.Thank you Balanced Bark. You will see me again when my new furry child comes to me.Much love!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

This was our puppy's first full groom (teddy bear cut) and Melanie, the groomer, did such a great job in making her feel welcome and listening to what we were looking for. Our pup has never looked (or smelled) better! And she is so soft. Thank you Melanie and the whole team at Balanced Bark.
