Just visited this location to get some Canadian to USD, exchange rate was better than the bank and the staff were quick and friendly to help with the exchange

First time I went in they didn't have enough USD to buy. I wasn't buying a huge amount either. Was told they'd have it later in the day, it never showed up. Went again few days later. Says they price match. Go in and try to price match with another currency exchange in the area and I'm told they don't match with them because their rates are lower than VCBE. You can't say you price match and then deny it because the rate is too low". Yes

Horrible customer service. Arrived at 10 am when it was supposed to be open. The business was closed. Called their Vancouver location, was told the guy will be there in 15 minutes. When he finally arrived in 25 minutes it turned out he didn't have key for the currency I needed. Wasted an hour of my time.

This is the ONLY place I exchange USD. When I first researched local places and their rates, Alpine had everyone else beat. They’re also very friendly and service is fast.
