Ordered take out tonight for the second time. The first time we ordered Beef and broccoli, and Cashew Chicken. The beef and Broccoli was delicious, however, the chicken in the Cashew dish was dry. Ordered tonight for the second time, 2 pad thai (1 with no chilli garlic), cashew chicken and spring rolls. Unfortunately and disappointingly, both pad thai dishes came with chilli garlic, and chicken in all 3 dishes was very dry. On a positive note staff were friendly, our order was ready on time and all dishes were still hot by the time we got home.

The bamboo hut has amazing food and great service. Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach with parking out front and back in behind if you're driving. The food is fresh and always tastes the same as the last time you ordered. A variety of choices on their menu and decently priced. This restaurant is family owned and operated, so you can feel good about supporting local! Highly recommend everyone to go to this amazing little spot in Sylvan Lake!

Placed order at 5:15 for 6:15 pick up and it was half an hour late. Plus the serving sizes have gone down significantly. No rice with the soup anymore?? So disappointed

This restaurant is a funny one they add sugar to all their food. I told the server that I don’t eat sugar and she brought two sets of food with sugar for me. You guys wanna kill me with cabs and add diabetes to people’s life. This is wrong on all level. The chef needs to do better. I am never coming back here again. And oh I don’t recommend unless you are a sugar addict.I saw your response and you claimed you didn’t charge me that was a lie I still have my receipts and I was charged for the food.

Lovely staff, near lake…Slow: 30 mins to wait 4 for to come, expensive: hawaiian vegetable with tofu (+4.5 cad for 4 pieces)NOT delicious: not authentic Thai TomYum or padthai, fried squid is salty

For Sylvan Lake this place is a hidden gem. SE Asian food isn't for everyone but there is something for everyone. If you want something different give it a try. By the way portion size is pretty darn good too.

We stumbled upon this restaurant because we were tired of Pub grub and wanted something different, and how lucky we were to choose here! Absolutely amazing fusion of flavours and food was super fresh and delicious, every dish was flavourful and on point. Will definitely have to return when we come back to Sylvan Lake! If you want something very unique try here!

Amazing! Highly recommended to us, so we thought we would try it the next time we’re in Sylvan Lake, 12/10!!! By far the best Vietnamese we’ve ever had.
