Fresh Kenny's Casual Eats
Our office ordered lunch from Fresh Kenny’s today and had it delivered by Door Dash . The delivery was fast , and so did the food ! Our office had the BLT with onion rings , BLT with garlic fries and cauliflower bites . All arrived with perfection ! WHY HAVE I NOT HEARD OF THIS PLACE ? !You can easily get lost in the menu , and that’s because everything looks so tasty! Let’s be honest , you probably couldn’t pick something in 1 min ! Good Luck in your challenge !The bacon was thick cut ,and cooked to perfection and the sandwich was HUGE ! My onion rings I can only assume we’re homemade , as they tasted delightful ! I tried the garlic fries with cheese and HEAVEN entered my mouth ! I didn’t try the cauliflower bites but they looked delicious and the other staff said they tasted delicious too !Prices were extremely reasonable and the size portions were large . Perfect for a single meal !If you have the chance to try this place , I highly recommend it !I also recently heard they have a pet friendly balcony! I’ll be sure to be ordering again and give them 5/5 for flavour , presentation , fresh ingredients and size !

The first time I went to Fresh Kenny's was when the place was on Kenneth Street, and the poutine was fantastic! However, last night I took a friend to Fresh Kenny's on Jubilee St and we both were really disappointed. We each ordered fish and chips. Unfortunately, the fish didn't really taste like anything, and the chips were awful. Dry and mealy. Nothing like the chips I had several years ago when I had poutine. The coffee I ordered tasted bitter and old, plus it was cold so I sent it back. All in all, it was not a good meal, plus the music was too loud. I do not think I will be returning.

Not sure how to rate it. I did emailWith no reply. I’ve been a many times. When driving through and have stopped in to eat as well. We visit the area often. Always order dinner for two or family dinners. Most of the time it had been great with good sizes. Last time servings seemed a bit less. Such as less fried and less coleslaw. The last time we went in august though was disappointing. We ordered a halibut meal when in town or driving through as that’s what my spouse likes and a cod meal. The halibut was supposed to be two pieces and came with 3 nugget sized pieces of mostly batter. Not even the size of one halibut. They didn’t even say they were running out of halibut to offer maybe half halibut half cod to actually equal enough fish for two pieces. Halibut costs a fair amount more so this was not ok. The coleslaw serving was also two spoonfuls each. Where it used to be a good amount. So my husband was left hungry.Also the last time we ordered a family size pack and we didn’t even get enough fries for 4 people. The serving was half the time before. I’m not sure if they have different cooks or forget what orders they are doing but it’s been inconsistent. It’s unfortunate because the food is good when done right.Taste would get a 4-5 startsBut inconsistency gets 2 so I’ll average a 3. Unsure if we will be back because it’s not cheap to eat out these days and we don’t want to be hungry after. Wish servings were consistent. Fish is one of our fav and it’s the best place for taste in town

Went in for a takeout order. People in, people out. Still sitting here a half hour later. Nobody asking why. Finally I asked whether I’ve been forgotten and they figured that our food left with someone else. Finally got the food and took it to where we were going to eat and…….. they forgot the fries that they specifically asked if we wanted.

DOG FRIENDLY PATIO was beautiful. Nice and shady and they brought my dog a nice dish of fresh water. Service was great. Drinks were great. And those fries OMG you can tell they are hand cut fresh. So fricken good. I had a nice fish and chip dinner and the coleslaw was also nice. I enjoyed the sunflower seeds on the coleslaw. We had the nachos to start and they were a great value. The whole menu is very well priced. Overall I would recommend this place especially if you have a dog with you. We will be back

Food is tasty and hot but service mediocre. Had to ask for service while waitresses chatted among themselves. Ordered expensive clam chowder and it arrived after the main meal. Waitress was indifferent when I brought it to her attention.This is a burger and taco restaurant that happens to sell fish and chips. Where are the other things you would traditionally expect to find in a fish-focused restaurant, like steamed clams, fried clams, scallop and prawn dishes, etc, all of which can be deep fried as easily as fish?

We have eaten here a few times now, went in Sunday July 9th, because we have always enjoyed the food and service, well last night we got no food because we got no service, we went in just after 3 and sat for 10 minutes listening to the staff talking in the kitchen, there were two other tables that had drinks but no food, we won't be back.

Fresh Kenny's Casual Eats
We went here for the first time during Cowichan Dine and Sip. We both had the crispy chicken burger and took an order of cauliflower bites home with us. The fries were really, really good and the burger was fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly and the overall feel of the restaurant was great! Very clean too!

First time trying them out. Food was amazing. Taco Wednesday is an amazing deal and the Tacos are delicious ☺️ Their service was above and beyond. I couldn't be happier. We will definitely be back.
