The name says it all...1 Stop HR Consulting! I have had the pleasure of working with Christie for a few years now and she is not only an incredible person, she also has years of experience and knows her profession very well. Christie is my go to for HR related questions, and advice. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Christie and the way that she runs her company. I have worked with Christie Ferguson of 1 Stop HR for a number of years across a few work environments. Without fail she has exceeded my expectations in delivering the services requested. Christie has provided training for groups of staff ranging from frontline staff through supervisors and senior leaders. She quickly learned the specifics of the services provided, the nuances of the various positions, the dynamics of the working relationships, and tailored her messaging to fit. Christie has also successfully provided one-on-one coaching for a few senior leaders struggling with the challenges of their positions and has been an invaluable resource to our HR team and me in my various executive roles. Christie offers high quality HR supports across a wide continuum of services but is quick to refer elsewhere if the service requested is one for which she does not feel adequately prepared. I would not hesitate to recommend 1 Stop HR if your HR department needs assistance, reinforcement, or a breath of fresh air.

Christie and the team at 1 Stop HR have been wonderful to work with, and I would highly recommend them. 1 Stop HR was a valuable resource for me at a time when we did not have the financial resources to support a HR employee nor the necessary time to dedicate to the many HR duties that needed to be completed. I had a good idea of the areas that needed to be improved or developed and Christie's initial assessment identified areas I had not thought of. This ultimately led to a road map to a better defined system, one I could move forward at a pace that worked for me. Christie also provided support through the recruitment process by leading the initial posting, application and screening process, allowing me to focus my time on the top candidates only. The minimum time commitment in her service arrangement worked well for me as it kept projects moving forward that might have otherwise been pushed aside for other priorities. I initially worried that there wouldn't be enough work to utilize the minimum hours each month but that didn't happen. When issues arose I could reach out to Christie for support and at quieter times Christie and I could move projects (such as policy and process development) forward. It was a great partnership.

As a partner in @Ward1Studios, we have now used Christie's services twice to grow our team. And both times it has been a perfect process start to finish. She is very transparent, about process, pricing, her notes on candidates, and recommendations. As well, she does everything she says she'll do, when she says she'll do it. That matters a lot when there is urgency to moving the recruitment process along. Plus being naturally a people person, she's simply great fun to work with. That takes out a lot of the friction that can go with the (normally) high-stress activity of hiring. Christie is also very tuned in to legal matters around HR, and will share freely of her notes and obervations on sessions she regularly attends related to things like can employers insist on vaccinations for employees returning to the office" or "government programs to financially support small businesses with hiring". All in all
