If I could give no stars I would. Had a window and door installed by this company. What a Mickey mouse job. I now have to have the company I should have went with repair the SECOND install South Huron Window and Doors Inc. Did. I also had screens replaced which weren't done correctly, screen just popped out.I did ask for a quote on 5 window replacements. Thank God they were too busy to even quote. I can't imagine the nightmare!

Melissa was extremely professional and very knowledgeable in recommending doors and windows for our house. All our inquiries received an immediate response and she went out of her way with accommodating us. North Star Windows are of superior quality and look great. Jason and his staff did an awesome job with the installation and paid attention to the smallest details. They were fantastic to deal with, from ordering to installing. They were efficient and professional when installing. They also cleaned up which i totally expected to do but was a nice bonus. Their quote was fair and total invoice was what was quoted. Highly recommend them! Great service and quality.

Over the past 6 years we have had SHWD install 2 doors, 1 patio door, 6 windows, and 5 basement windows. They always provide us with a reasonable and accurate quote within a few days of a request, if not that day, and they always do a great job with the install.Staff are friendly, kind, and willing to answer any and all questions I have.I go to work, they come install during the day, and I come home and the work is done, the area is always clean and looks like no one was even there (except for the beautiful new window of course)! We have never been disappointed with the service, the install, or the product.I highly recommend South Huron Window & Door to anyone in the area looking for windows or doors.

We needed two new-custom slide doors and some new glass for a couple windows. Melissa was extremely helpful online and instore. Installation was quick, they look great and most importantly they block out sound, weather and slide well. We went with double pain on their recommendation and are very happy.

Great work from their team on a garage door we have had installed - it shuts and locks. Installers were nice guys too, who cleaned up after themselves. Melissa was ok at communicating, and apologized for the delays. She was very friendly! The door itself was what we expected, however additional work is needed on my end to complete the door (painting the lentil area above the outside of the door - which was not expected nor communicated that it would need to be done before hand). I will also take part ownership of one of the minus stars on this review, as I should have shopped around a little bit more before putting the deposit down - it took them 6 months to do this door. 6 months to do a 3 hour job - parts shortage may have played a part - that's the status quo these days. That said, I am happy a small business is this delayed due to work. With the amount of waiting, and the extra paint needed - for a first time door buyer in Exeter (who will need many more replaced in the future) I will certainly shop around next time - with keeping these guys in mind as a good option minus the wait.

We recently had 6 windows replaced and last year had 2 doors replaced. Melissa and Jason are knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The fella who helped Jason do the installations (I didn't get his name) was also super nice.We will definitely be back to have 2 small windows replaced and our patio door next year.The only reason I gave a 4 star rating (rather than a 5 star) was due to delays on both installations. It is good to know that in this economy we have small companies such as South Huron Window & Door, that are so busy that they can't find the time to take on new customers. We needed new windows and doors for our house and tried to book an appointment for a consultant to come out and measure and give us an estimate. Unfortunately they were too busy and did not know when their time schedule would allow for somebody to come out. I was told they could measure from the outside of the house although not sure how that is going to be accurate with a 2 storey house and lots of windows. Even then they weren't sure when could be out. Needless to say we have widened our search to companies that are more accommodating to their customers and who put them first.
