Even with all the science out there saying the use of coal needs to be greatly reduced, Teck just announced they are increasing shipments out of Prince Rupert. Shame on you!

the teck frontier should not be built ever! if will increase the amount of greenhouse gases by 6 million ton a year, damage an area of the boreal forest twice the size of vancouver, threaten the wood bison species who is in recovery......and so much more.it will be operating until 2067...even though the government comitted to achieving net 0 of emissions by 2050.

Please do not support Teck. If approved, the Teck Frontier mine would operate for more than 40 years, locking in carbon pollution until 2067, even though Canada has committed to net-zero emissions by 2050.

The Teck Frontier will create fossil fuel dependency until 2067 at least. Investing in fossil fuels as we face an ecological and climate crisis is simply unacceptable. We need long-term, renewable solutions, not the continued entrenchment of our economy in the fossil fuel industry. #RejectTeck

Stop trying to stop our own country from producing oil. Apparently all these people that have been manipulated by the media would rather we continue to buy the very NECESSARY oil from Saudi instead of buying local.

Teck Resource’s proposed Frontier Mine would be one of the largest tar sands mine ever constructed and one of the largest climate polluters in Canada. It would operate until 2067, even though Canada has committed to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

My childhood vacations were in the land around Banff-Jasper. Tent, station-wagon, nothing fancy. Please:...DON'T DEVELOP THIS LAND. Make money and give good people jobs in some other manner. Use your personal energy to keep beauty (not destroy it) as best you can, even though I know we are all complicit. Don't further destroy the land. We can shift our lifestyle.

I do not recommend this employer, I jumped through all the hoops and interviews to get a job. Finally I was approved to start at HVC and the recruiters and HR department just ghosted me. They Would not answer emails or phone calls. I wasted 3 full days of testing and doctors for nothing. They don’t even have the Courtesy to tell you that there is no jobs available at the moment.
