Best bakery on the south west side. If you're planning to go to Oh Doughnuts, save yourself a trip and go to Lilac. Better value, better quality, and consistent service.

I read a little about the bakery before we visited. I didn't get the name of the person helping me out I was so impressed with happy friendly folks. I had the opportunity to meet the owner and what a delightful person.We will be back you will definitely leave delighted with a smiles and treats!

Getting a cake here for my birthday was always a tradition for me, but I don't know if my tastes have changed or what, but their icing is nauseatingly sweet. The cake inside is delicious, but the icing is just... Way too much! I was embarrassed to serve the last cake at my birthday because everyone couldn't stomach the icing. I think I'm officially done with this bakery.

Lilac Bakery made cupcakes and macarons for my daughter's shower recently. Lilac bakery is very easy to work with, professional, accommodating and the baking was phenomenal! I just ordered a blueberry birthday cake this past weekend. They make perfect buttercream icing, the cake had real blueberries in it. Their macarons are top notch as well.

I went here to pick up some cupcakes for a birthday party. They had a good variety of flavours but the cupcakes just looked very under whelming. Nothing popped out. I was looking for a little pizazz to present at the party...not plane jane looking cupcakes!

Cute little bakery shop with variety of sweets and very cute little mini cakes. If you go at the end of the day - you might not have much selections to choose from. They have good coffee selections as well.

Kassey absolutely nailed my request. Ordered a very complex custom two tiered cake with a significant amount of detail, and she missed none of it. Highly recommend, A++!

I have been ordering from them since 2012. The cake is very delicious, the icing is not too sweet. The price is very reasonable too. I always order last minute and they always try their best to accomodate me. Chris (the owner) and the staff member are very friendly. Highly recommend!
