I've been to tons of vets. I don't like when I ask questions and they give me vague answers or when the staff at the front desk is rude (who likes that?)This clinic checks all my boxes. They are fairly priced, they provide quality service and they are knowledgeable and patient. All my friends bring their animals here. I even commute from Port moody to see them

I had the exact same experience some other people here had. Took my senior cat to get her blood done. They took her to the back and all I could her were her screams for over 10 minutes. I’ve had her all her life (almost 18 years) and never had problems taking her blood. And she is SMALL (2.1 kg), not hard to hold her down. The vet came to me and suggested we sedate her, I strongly refused as she is so old and that never had to happen before. They tried more and she screamed even louder. I felt pressured that sedation would be the only way, so they did. I left crying, emotionally distraught from all the stress and the situation that I have never experienced from having such a routine check up. I found another vet hospital where I can stay with her while they check on her and they never even suggested getting her sedated for blood work. It was a traumatizing experience and I don’t recommend this place for cats.

Not sure why it enjoys high rating. Last time I reserved a dental appointment for my cat, doctor was careless and get my cat bleeding when cut his nails. I was told this is very normal and we didn’t go through the dental check as my cat was terrified. And I was charged $80 for this just because there’s a reservation made already… as it’s close to my place so I want to give it a second chance and called for a body check today, the staff said she’ll check the schedule and put me on the phone for almost 10min. Maybe they’re very busy but it was very bad customer experience. I do not recommend it and I’ll not come to this place again.

The staff here are great and provide a positive atmosphere, making vet visits fun (when possible). Dr Hans takes the time to explain possible causes of symptoms and does his best to answer questions. He is knowledgeable, respectful and really cares for animals. I would recommend this clinic.

Pricing is reasonable and staff are friendly. They have most recently neutered my cat and plan to continue bringing all my animals here for our vet needs.

I called this morning and asked if they could take our cat in for urgent blood work due to his temper and history and getting stressed which could cause crystals and blockage for him I asked if I could stay with him during the process. Which the vet agreed. Everyone was super friendly and seemed to deeply care about our cat. The doctor was super nice to and explained me the costs beforehand and let me decide which what I want to go ahead. Even on medication our cat was difficult and scratches one assistance. sorry about that! Another one came in and they tried to take blood with him being on his side which worked. I am happy they didn't have to use the gas. Our little guy went through so much. They put so much effort in it to make it work which means so much to me. All our pets are so loved and lots of vets seem just to care about money and scam you which happened with the vet we went before. (please don't go to Hume Park if you love your pet). This place is the opposite of the place we went before. Like a vet should be! They are also super reasonable prices and not trying to upsell you things you don't need. We paid 1/4 of what we paid at the vet who lied to us and scammed us. I barely write reviews but I know how hard it is to find a trustworthy caring vet! so I hope this helps lots to decide for this vet and avoid the other! every human and also animal deserves the best care possible. Thank you again for today!! I really appreciate all you did today :) So does Wolverine even if it didn't look like it lol

Will not be returning to this vet. Took our cat in for a check up and they suggested we get some yearly vaccines so we agreed. A few minutes later (after they took her to the back alone, behind several doors) I hear my cat literally death screaming as if they are torturing her in the back. I don’t think anyone could listen to their own cat screaming like that, any sane person would know that something is not right. After a few seconds I decided I would go back there since it actually started to get worse. I go into the room and they have four (4) people pinning my cat to a table with one person dedicated to shoving a muzzle on here. She has scratches all over her face and ears so its obvious how rough they were being with her. As soon as they saw me walk in they stopped pushing so hard on her and tried to tell me that they did this because the vet had a tiny scratch on his finger (like have you never dealt with a cat before?) She weighs about 7 lbs. and we trimmed her claws right before taking her... Upon further discussion with the vet (“Dr” Manjnder Hans) failed to explain why they were being so rough with her and why they didn’t even contact the owner if they were having difficulties. This is EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. To finish it all off they said they would give us a 5% discount and would leave a note on our file for next time to keep us informed as they go through with the exam? No idea how this isn’t already a policy here but okay. These people clearly don’t know how to deal with animals. The way they treated my cat is completely irresponsible and quite honestly just sickening.

Dr. Hans was so caring with my Josie, she had been puking since last night. I called their clinic before opening hours and he was able to squeeze me in last minute and even came in early. She’s doing so good today, his medication worked so well and it didn’t cost me an arm and leg.

Average vet. We took a foster puppy for her first vaccination, dewormer, and checkup. The vet performed the physical examination behind closed doors so I can’t comment whether the vet was thorough or not. It would have been preferred to have the physical examination of the pup with me in the room so I can physically see what was examined for.
