Kolapore Uplands Parking Lot
This is a great spot for access to some really cool hiking trails. Excellent access to caves and caverns. Expect to traverse some difficult terrain though.

Kolapore Uplands Parking Lot
Lots of parking here though it is the farther lot from the rock climbing area and requires a bit of a hike to get there.

Kolapore Uplands Parking Lot
Climbed at Swamp for the first time this year. The bugs were not too bad, mostly black flies and almost no mosquitoes. We were the only group there over the course of the entire day. Trees and trilliums were coming in so nicely. The forest was very peaceful. We had no issues with any loose rock, always a good idea to check after winter. One of the gullies still had a patch of ice, and the cool air was wonderful on a hot day. The portapotty at the parking was clean and well stocked with hand sanitizer. Really appreciate this place.

I just checked blue ribbon out OK but trail too small for snowshoeing l walked and too many hills for bad knees

Kolapore Uplands Parking Lot
The parking lot is in a perfect position for hiking to The Swamp or an extension of the Bruce Trail. Always make a donation.

Kolapore Uplands Parking Lot
The lot is a bit small, and the first section of the trail was extremely muddy, but otherwise it's lovely. Many sections of the rest of the trail are challenging.

We did have a wonderful hike but what we thought was going to take us in a loop took us clear out the other side to a different road than what we parked on. We went back the same way we came and I did notice the signs were a little off. We came to one sign that said kolapore 3 kms ....ok cool then we walked a little further and saw another sign that said the same thing! But I found that all the trails had the same color markers so easy to be confused

Decent sized free parking lot (donations welcome) but it's still pretty full usually. You have to cross the road with fast moving cars so you need to be a little careful. A long hike to get to Metcalfe Rock from here, but better parking. There is a Porta potty available here. No street parking around there. It's located at a curve and the shoulder looks pretty slim with a steep ditch, so not a good idea.
