Service wasn't great person taking orders seemed annoyed with life and it was very slow sat and waited in my car for over half an hour after standing in line for about 20 minutes and when I got my mozzarella sticks I see it's only 6 sticks for 7.50 holyJust overall wasn't great wont be going there again

Loved this place, if you've ever had a small town Canada vacation spot as a kid this place will remind you of those days. The sound, the friendly staff and the decor is just awesome. Great food and prices as well.

Marginally acceptable, Long wait, no wifi. The senior fish & chips comes with about 20 french fries and a little piece of fish, lots of batter. Nothing special there, it's just a much smaller order. No WIFI so not recommended for out of towners looking up maps. Be careful pulling out, cars are going 80+ kph about 55+ mph

This is a typical take-out, order at one window pick up at the next. There are a few picnic tables and a small swing set for younger children. The food is amazing. They serve all the typical seafood dishes as well as great hamburgers and other dishes. The portions are what I would call normal. Most places pile on the food and fries and I end up leaving half of it on the plate. I consider that a waste. While the meals were expensive we didnt mind paying the price for the quality of the food. The take-out is a little out of the way but definitely worth the trip. We pass by that area a few times a year and the consensus of the group is always to eat there versus a sit in restaurant. We always look forward to our next meal there and would recommend this take-out to everyone.

This place was absolutely delightful. A quaint little out of the way place with fantastic (and fairly priced) ice cream. Nowhere else have I found blue raspberry soft serve ice cream, which I was blown away by. Absolutely worth the stop.

Delicious roadside diner. Had wonderful fish and chips and moon mist ice cream (a Nova Scotia delicacy). Highly recommend. Sign says they will close for the season on October 8th.

Really good takeout food. The clams were done to perfection. I would only say I would rather have kraft tarter sauce rather than the home made deal but you can't always have everything. I would recommend it to anyone.

The Tipee" now known as Oak Bay Snack Bar. Stopped in for an ice cream. Got a sundae waffle cone which was as good as it sounds. And my mom had a swirl. Which she said was super creamy. Lady that waited on us was very friendly. My dad always took us all here as a family when we were kids. Drive the whole way to Oak Bay to get a soft serve swirl..lol. Brought back alot of memories. Glad to see the place still in operation. Will return to try the takeout."
