Great place! Salmon sashimi was fresh and large pieces. The chef rolls are excellent and the servers were quick and friendly.

Takumi Sushi
I had a great time here at Takumi sushi, the atmosphere is very intimate and quiet. The sashimi is delicious, very nice thick cuts of fish. We tried the flame, mango and signature chefs rolls all of them were fantastic. I believe it says alot about the place when they use their good cuts for all their dishes. I'm sure we will find our selves in the care of their wonderful staff again soon.

Sushi was really good and tasted fresh and the rolls had the perfect amount of rice (not too much). I would definitely order from here again but i dont think I will eat inside. It was pretty cold in the restaurant and we sat near the sushi bar so it had a strong smell of vinegar from the rice. Service was also a little bit slow but she was very nice. The happy hour was a really good price

Takumi is probably the best sushi in calgary, it is about average in price, although I like to try everything on the menu so me and my partner spent a decent amount.

Great place. Lovely waiters. We had a beautiful family dinner. Popular place. You can make a reservation or just wait in a line. Sashimi is prepared and served properly, which deserves special mention. Great selection of sake, they also have plum wine. I recommend this place.

We had a great meal here on a busy Sunday. The staff was very nice and food came out so quickly and yummy! Lunch special was very cheap compared to other sushi places.

I ended up going here because the other sushi place was closed. Happy I did - the kappa, avocado, and yam tempura rolls were tasty and filling. Mango rolls were also good.

Great sushi place! Rolls are not falling apart (something I’ve seen in many places across Calgary). The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The only thing for improvement - to clean light shade that are handing in dust above the tables.

Always impressed by the quality of the sushi at Takumi. During COVID we always ordered takeout and since then I've dined in a couple times. The size of the sashimi is very generous and worth the price. I love that they have hamachi sashimi! Hamachi has been my favourite since I visited Japan. The ikayaki is my favorite appetizer, very flavourful and has have a nice chewy texture with some crunch. The rolls are a little heavy on the rice, but I think that depends on which roll you order. The aburi had great flavour. The salmon aburi had a nice kick with the jalapeño. I've also never had to wait for a table here!
