I first met the lead instructor about 6 or 7 years ago. I had be training about 5 years at the time and he helped take my game to a whole new level. About 3 years ago he moved to Orillia and started Resolve. I’ve trained there off and on since it’s inception and it’s a place where not only is the training tough (and safe) but the people are down to earth and respectful. Great gym for all!

My daughter is quite shy, but since enrolling her in the kids class there has been a great boost in her self-confidence. The coaches are respectable, knowledgeable & really take the time to teach the kids important skills. I highly recommend parents to enroll their kids at Resolve!

My son is in the kids’ class at Resolve and I’m so impressed with the atmosphere and coaching. For the kids, it’s always about safety, fitness, respect, and inclusiveness. Skills are taught in the context of self-defence and de-escalation, plus there’s always room for fun and games at the end of class! :D

Can't recommend Resolve enough. Fantastic instruction and great training partners willing to help everyone from different skill levels learn and grow. Come out and do something new and challenging! The kids class is also well organized and enjoyed by all.

We started the kids class the beginning of this year, and it has been fantastic. The teachers are great, their patient and provide lots of skills and information. I appreciate all the morals and lessons they teach the kids. Highly recommend for kids to participate in. They also have an amazing women's only class. I highly recommend for women to participate in, it’s not only for self defence but great for fitness and provides so many skills.

My son and myself both attens resolve and I can say my experience in the woman's jujitsu class at resolve has been absolutely incredible. I never saw myself doing something like this, not even close. And now I can't get enough. I can't wait to see where it takes me. Our coach is so supportive and she really knows how to make sure we all are getting the techniques and submissions down.And in my son's words, he absolutely loves jiu-jitsu, his class and couches. He walks away great self-confidence and knowing that he's being taught, something useful and meaningful is huge for him

My son has been taking the kids classes twice a week for the past three months and he LOVES it. It's such a positive and accepting environment for both kids and parents. There is a good balance between instruction and fun, and emphasis is always on training safe. I would highly recommend bringing your kids to try out a session to see what they think.
