Went to this location in Oakville for the first time after previously trying the one in Milton and thought it was decent. I like the fact they give you complimentary chips and salsa especially at a time when alot of restaurants are tightening their belts and canceling a lot of things that don’t make them money they still continue to do this which is awesome and much appreciated.Food came out in a timely manner and it was good. Our waitress was very hands on and staff in general there are just very helpful and nice. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because we did request for a booth seat and there was plenty available when we got there as we arrived rather early but for some reason we were still given a table even though the restaurant was only partially full at the time. However we would definitely still return here if we are ever in the area and hungry.

Had an amazing experience at this establishment, was quick to be seated despite it looking rather busy. Was amazed at our waitress sizzler! She was super great with the kids and really quick to check in and make sure everything was all good. Will definitely be stoping in soon and requesting for sizzler again. Not to mention the food was unbelievable, the waitress made a great appetizer suggestion the family really enjoyed.

It’s not the 1st visit and definitely not the last. I like this spot. For starters we ordered wings and cauliflowers, as main course we ordered Steak, Chicken and Shrimp. Everything was tasty. I liked their margaritas! Every time I try something new from their menu that I haven’t tried before and so far I was never disappointed.

the fish tacos were quite good and liked the sweet potato fries. the Mexican poutine was delicious and my husband loved the chimichanga. will definitely go back. service was really great too. waitress was prompt and friendly

I have been going to the Lone Star for many, many years. Intermittently through those years, some hired “expert” or “genius” comes along (from time to time as I said) and decides to mess with a near 40 year old custom of giving away “free” chips and salsa to dine-in customers. Well, here we go again folks: They’ve recently instituted a $2.49 + tax fee PER serving of chips and salsa (citing “cost increases”). This is on top of a near $50 + tax cost for fajitas for two and a $9 + tax cost for a slice of cookies and cream cake for dessert.Don’t get me wrong: the staff and manager are very nice and helpful at this location. I enjoyed the food as well. The portions have gotten much smaller though, and the prices have skyrocketed.These days for about half the price of the Lone Star, two decent, filling, burritos or orders of tacos can be had at many different places other than the Lone Star. One of the things that used to differentiate the Lone Star from these other places was that fact that they had complimentary chips and salsa. Now that is gone, again.They’ve tried something like this a couple of times or more (I’ve lost count) and they’ve always eventually backtracked on charging for chips and salsa. The server used to walk over and put the complimentary chips and salsa on the table, take drink orders, and say hello. Now regular customers are stuck asking: “where are the chips and salsa?”. Is this the first interaction Lone Star servers want with their customers?I’ve always said: if they are cutting costs out front then what are they doing in the back where customers can’t see?Until the prices get more reasonable and the chips and salsa are once again complimentary, I will not be going to this or any other location of the Lone Star Texas Grill. This from someone who used to go once, or even twice, a week.

A little bit pricy and service can be slow but the staff is very nice and the food portions and quality is good. Great place to take out the kids and family. Free table side nachos are a $10 value at other restaurants

Stopped by for dinner and ordered the fajitas. Food was great and decent sized portions - the fresh tortillas were the best part. Our server, Citrus, was fantastic as well. She was friendly, attentive, and kept the tortillas coming! Will definitely be visiting again.

The chips and salsa are a perfect appetizer to start off the meal. Our group all had the fajitas and as usual, they were super hot, fresh and delicious.We were happy with the whole experience. Thank you for the great meal.

Lone Star Texas Grill
Okay so I had an order for 850 pm and I waited over 20 mins for it. They apologized and at least the food was warm, but considering I spent 150 dollars, they forgot to send the tortillas for the fajitas!! The main part to the damn meal. And don't even ask me what the box of stuff they give you for the fajitas is supposed to be... all the cheese melted into the peppers. Not happy at all
