I brought in two watches to have their batteries replaced, and one watch needed more links in the band. Service was quick and professional, and the watches were set to the correct time and date. Cost was reasonable for what was done. It’s nice to have a watch repair shop nearby, where someone knows what they’re doing!

Serviced, my Rolex Datejust here. Was quoted 2 weeks and it was ready after 7 days! Cost was $900. I would go there again

Prompt friendly service.. got a couple of batteries replaced and a new band for my watch. nice to meet people that are masters of Their Craft.

Brought my watch in and needed it done on the day, called in and the kind man answered and told me he could fix it. Brought it in and within 10 minutes it was done! The frame around the date on my seiko came off and it cost $25 to replace. Will be coming back for service on my other watches!

Brought in my old pocket watch to replace the crystal. It has been in the family since the 1940s that I know of.Lost the glass many years ago. I brought it to a number of places to repair over the years with no luck. The gentleman at AJ Watch & Clock took a look at it and said no problem, give me a week..When I went back it had been repaired as promised and on time! Great shoppe and very nice people who are a pleasure to deal with.

We left our watch there in March 2022 with a $50 deposit. He told us it was a good Swiss watch and was worth fixing. We've called several times with no answer, spoken once and said would call back. We have not heard from him. Whenever we go by the store is closed. Wondering if our family watch is gone including our deposit. We like giving business to small business however we deeply regret taking our watch there.

I own a Vintage Datejust Rolex 16013 (45 yrs old) needed to be Serviced. 1st Business I thought of was Aj Watch. Main spring needed to be replaced along with regular maintenance. Took 2 weeks but worth the wait. Jubilee band was nicely polished, diamonds were blinging again and keeping time super precise at +/-1 seconds per day. Very happy with everything as I wear my Rolex every day. Price was reasonable for the Service.

Dropped off 2 clocks for repair in October 2021…picked 1 up in January 2022…it worked well. Was told the other one still needed work. On that same day in Jan 2022 I had brought a pocket watch and another clock in for repair as well. I was told the two clocks and pocket watch would be done by March/April. Nothing heard from this place by May. Between May 2022 and November 2022 I called no less than 4 times. Twice no answer..message left…no callback. Twice he picked up…told me to wait a minute…but never came back. Today, March 23, 2023….I drive the distance to the shop in North Whitby. One clock has been there for 17 months, another clock and a pocket watch there for 14 months. He didn’t know where any of them were…aside from the pocket watch. But…no work done on watch aside from an external cleaning. I saw the outer body of the clock I left 17 mths ago and pointed it out…guts out and beside it. Saw the guts of the one I left 14 months ago…in a filthy plastic dish…body nowhere to be found. So as to not make a scene, I let 4 customers be attended before I re engaged him in helping to find my clock body. It was found in about 10 mins. He offered to repair them again…I declined. Took my parts and pieces, and the complimentary crystal for the pocket watch he just had on the counter..apparently it was held up because of shipping…yet watch had zero work done on it. Two clocks I brought home…far worse than when I brought them in. Pocket watch…identical aside from a clean outer case and a fancy shmancy new crystal that “didn’t really fit” but fits just fine.So yes…my review is far from positive..but it’s not possible to give a negative 5 star review…so 1 it is. It seems this place just gets too much business and can’t keep up!Had all 3 items had been repaired, the bill would’ve been well over $550-700.00 The pocket watch alone was a $350.00 estimate..which I would’ve gladly paid. So after dragging this entire fiasco out for 14-17 mths, I simply settled for getting it all back…in far worse and disassembled condition and filthy dirty as well. I should mention that I was a repeat customer having 4 items repaired there since 2019 without issue.Poor poor form on all levels required for customer service and ethics. Never again.

John is the kindest and most honest gentleman I have ever met! A true craftsman! He can absolutely fix any watch or jewelry related concern.He has been in this plaza for as long as I can remember! Highly recommend!
