Renaissance Edmonton Airport Hotel

Room had no hand access rail for bed which was qyuite high. Bottles in shower were in locked position so inacessible. Staff were very helpful. Location for those driving is very difficult to find and get to registration. Also bathroom doors on that level absolutely inaccessible, I had to use my cellphone to ask to be let out of batroom.

We had an amazing stay here. The young man behind the desk, Campbell, went above and beyond, treating us like family. Overall fantastic experience.

In terminal airport. Stayed for 1 night connecting to get home. Well appointed with friendly staff. The rooms are quiet and clean.Back for another stay. 3 nights this time. Due to my status they gave me an upgrade to a beautiful, huge suite. All the amenities are available at this location. Everything is clean and modern. Definitely a place worth staying for travel or business.

Stayed here for one night before an early flight and overall everything was great. As a Platinum elite member we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was huge! The room was very clean and we especially loved the Aveva bathroom products.The lounge was opened in the evenings for some snacks and they had pastrami sandwiches which were fantastic. They also had some fruits and cheeses not a huge selection but the sandwiches were so good that we didn't mind the small selection of things. The breakfast opens at 6am for the lounge which seemed to have a bit more selection then the evening but we didn't try anything.One thing to note which is odd is that the mobile key doesn't work for the elevators only for the room which kind of defeats the purpose but at least they have an elite desk at the front desk so it didn't take long to get keys made.Will definitely stay again since we liked not having to rush in the morning and the walk from the hotel is quick and the hotel was very comfortable.

I attended a 2 day conference here and I was astonished by how good the food is. I’ve attended dozens of conferences across different venues in Edmonton and the Renaissance must have a great chef because it truly stands out. The event staff were all wonderful as well. Conference centre is kept very clean, bathrooms were constantly being cleaned, and really easy to get to.

Very convenient for early flights. Worth it not to worry about cabs or hotel shuttles. They are always so nice and helpful every time I stay. I haven't eaten in the lounge since Covid, but last time I did, I enjoyed it - next time I will be sure to have dinner.

Can't beat the location as it is connected to the Airport. Rooms are great size and very well appointed. Shower is great pressure.Hotel design is very modern. Staff were vwry friendly and helpful. Price pont is high, but that's the convenience factor. Good for those 5am flights

It’s an excellent hotel to stay. When I checked in Nadine, front desk agent, was very friendly and professional. She was informative and went above and beyond. My room was not ready, because I had arrived at noon. She asked housekeepers to expedite the cleaning so that I could get in to my room. Nadine was very helpful and did an outstanding customer service.I attended a conference at the hotel. The food and service were outstanding. The staff were all wonderful. Conference room was very clean and well organized.

We stayed overnight at the Renaissance as we had an early morning flight and we figured it would be easier with young children. The location is perfect for that purpose. However, for the cost of the rooms, the room we had was filthy. The fixtures/lamps/decor all had a fine layer of dust. The silver art piece on the wall still had lipstick marks from whoever decided it was a good idea to make out with it. The shower itself needed a deep clean with grime built up enough for it to appear black.

Second time staying here for business. The first time I stayed here, I had a very sketchy experience with a male hotel working hanging outside my hotel room at 9pm at night claiming the had me checking out that day when it was an error in their system. I booked the club lounge access this time on the website and then was told that was an error and I wasn’t offer club lounge access. On top of that, the TV reception was horrendous during my stay (every channel was fuzzy and went in and out). They moved me rooms to help with the issue and apparently it was an issue with the entire floor during my stay. Maybe I sound ungracious, but would recommend if you have a rental car to stay at the Fairfield down the street as I will be doing that next time.
