Very calm and relaxing campsite, still within city limits. Pretty much a jewel in the rough.Individual campsites separated by old growth trees, private, yet close to amenities.Public washrooms situated at different intervals.Kids play areas also situated at different locations. Not noisy at all.

Lovely green park, lots of trees, private sites. Laundry is well set up. I don't care for how the showers are set up, but they work.

Great Campground site. They accommodate campers, trailers and if you want to do just tents. There is a laundry mat on site and restrooms equipped with multiple hot/cold showers. You can buy the basic essentials in the mini store. There is this awesome playground near the front office. The location is close to a school and within walking distance of a playing field where you can probably take a dog to play catch or kids to practice soccer or base ball etc. There is the standard fire place and firewood sold on site. The camper areas has different power outlet and there is fee wifi but limited to the office area. Overall, I'd recommend for one of your short stops on you long trips or just a few days with kids.

Certainly not a wilderness park, as it is right in the city, and needs to make efficient use of available land, but, still, the sites are mostly a generous size, not real private, but, better than could be expected for a campground of this style. There are many large trees (average maybe 1 per site) that provide some shade and wind protection. There is a row of bushes between sites, which provides for some privacy. Most sites have water & power, but, no sewer connection, which is alleviated by the very inexpensive service offered here. They will come right to your site and offload your waste tanks for CAD$8.00!(2023)There is a security guard at night, who does not allow entrance to non-guests after 11PM.Park is owned and maintained by the city of Saskatoon, and is very well looked after. There are washrooms(with showers) a coin operated laundromat, onsite office with very helpful staff, pets are welcome. All in all, a quite nice campground. $CAD 765.00/4 weeks, taxes in.Only gets 4 stars, privacy could be better, water pressure at the campground is in excess of 80 psi, too high to safely connect to your camper(might blow the plumbing apart in your camper, possibly behind walls, or under floors)

Beautiful campground! The only thing missing to give it 5+ are sewer hookups.

It is early in the season but the campground is in good condition. We had booked site 26 but on arrival were told it had been given out already. They put us in 27 which has a constant issue with dried fruit falling off an elderberry tree and sticking to our vehicle and unit. Just avoid this campsite and you should be fine.

Great little campground. Would have been nicer if the camping slots were a little more separated as you can hear even your neighbour's whisper from their tent.Unfortunately, had trouble with late night campers on the other side of our neighbours making a ton of noise from partying through the night and early morning and no park security around. And irate campers around us from said incident. The bathrooms were cleaned x2 a day. The park was clean, animal friendly. Staff were excellent in the main office. Showers are clean and work well (shower curtains would have been great for privacy though). There was no real fire pit. Just a make shift grill you can throw logs into that was by the bushes. There is no pool there either. But they do have a nice playground for the kids.

Nice little campground tucked away close to the centre is Saskatoon named after hockey great Gordie Howe. Well groomed sites and clean washroom facilities. Nice little playground for the kids and secure overnight so you feel safe.Down the street from a large sports complex and adjacent to a neighbourhood. Not much around for food although there is a gas station with a convenience store and take out pizza place although if your camping assuming you have your own food anyways.

The park was easy to find. It is located in the city adjacent to The Gordon Howe Sports Complex. There is pavement all the way including parameter roads. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. Our site, 103, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach. Our towed parked beside it. Services (30 amp and water only) were to the left side. Distancing is very reasonable for an urban park. Most sites had a vegetation barrier. Each site has a table and most have a grill on a stand. No fire pit. Our site was flat but a little “lumpy”. Overall the park was pretty and well manicured. The included wifi internet worked very well most of the time with NO log in password required. We did find a few OTA TV. Satellite might be difficult because of the trees if you don’t have a portable dish. We did not use the washrooms or pay showers but we checked and found them clean. There is a large green area near the office that people use to exercise their dogs. Ice, firewood and small items for sale in the office. There is no shopping, fast food or restaurants within easy walking distance but all can be found a short drive away. We found this park to be a well run urban RV park. We paid $42.50 per night and we feel we received very good value. We will be back if in the area again. Be advised, this is a very popular park. Booking is suggested.
