Chez Delmo
By far, one of the best culinary experiences I have had. The service, the cocktails, the menu items and the attn to detail, is over the top. This has transformed my seafood experience. A MUST, for every seafood lover. Must be rated in Montreals top 10. The owner, Bartender and chef all are exemplary. I can’t recommend this experience enough.

Chez Delmo is a great seafood restaurant! The greeting is fast and professional, the service is efficient and friendly. Fresh products, classic neighbourhood joint full of regulars, very busy. The cocktails are generous(6 oz martinis). They have an outstanding seafood tower, very festive . The seafood pasta is excellent and generous. The Dover sole Meuniere is the house specialty, but there are several lobster dishes, like a lobster club sandwich. Interestingly, we ordered 12 oysters but were served 13. The server William explained that they traditionally serve a bakers dozen"

Amazingly delicious mussels, fries and calamari. If you are going go finish off dinner, order the pudding to share. Also, the service is first class and my water never went empty. This is a fine dining restaurant and dressing up is a must in my opinion.

Came here for what was suppose to be my birthday dinner - I would not recommend this place to anyone. Our food did not arrive until an hour after we ordered. After we complained to the manager, he lied and said we only waited for 30 minutes. I felt bad for our waiter because he was very nice and courteous. He was apologetic and sincere but the manager was out of this world rude! Didn’t even apologize, he just shook his head and walked away. Food was way overpriced for what we were served. There are better restaurants in Montreal than this. Do not waste your time or money here!It took so long for our food to come that I didn’t even bother taking any pictures!

Our favorite restaurant experience in Montreal was Chez Delmo. By far our favorite place to eat. Small place with a cozy feeling. The food was amazing! We tried as much as we can, but need to go back to try the rest. The seafood is so fresh, the drink menu is perfection, and the service was top-shelf. Will come back again!

We went here because of the lobster thermidor. The restaurant was nice but not stuffy, with an upscale casual vibe. Service was fast, responsive, and courteous. Prices are definitely high. As mentioned, we ordered the thermidor, as well as the duck confit. The thermidor was good, but not as flavorful as expected, and I was surprised to see that they had included the greyish meat around the head. That put me off a bit. The confit was sweet and flavourful, if not a little too rich. Overall good experience, not sure if I'd go there again, especially given the prices.

Amazing food, very knowledgeable waiters & Benoit the owner is very friendly! We had oysters, snails, calamaris, scallops, crab cakes & more.Hard to pin point which was my favourite because we truly enjoyed every item we tried.Will most definitely be back!

Beautiful space, wonderful and elegant service. All of the seafood was cooked perfectly. Everyone was so friendly the moment we entered the restaurant. They even gave us recommendations for places to go around town.

On a family trip to Old Montreal, hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. 7 of us went together expecting a nice dinner. Our food took 1 hour to come out, and the manager was rude about it as well when we expressed frustration at how long the wait was. We even had a reservation! The server did the best he could, but was clearly serving too many tables by himself. The food is so-so, definitely not worth the price is costs! At that price point, the food and service should be top-notch, but both were not. Do not go to this restaurant when in Old Montreal... there are so many other much better ones to choose from.
