VERY BAD SERVICE! Never trust Canadian Tire Policy again.I bought a bike from Newmarket store while I was told that it can be returned within 90 days. I rode about 10 mins back to home and it made so much noisy loudly, as well gear shifting issue. When I returned, the manager refused by saying - He told me that this can't be returned when I purchased but actually I didn't see him before. After he had to apologize for the liar, he picked the words like paper documentation missing. But when I told him I still have them, he picked the words like the wheels get dirty, etc. When I disclosed his liars, he threated me to call police. I heard similar things happened before from others but now I am experiencing it.Therefore, the conclusion to me (hopefully everyone learns from this lesson) is Extremely Bad Service from Canadian Tire and The Policy is Big Joker - not trustable at all. Don't try enter Canadian Tire because of bad product and bad service.Want to add a few more words here - Don't wish the issue to be solved from Canadian Tire itself. Don't try it unless you want to upset yourself!

Sometimes it’s better not to say anything if you don’t know the right info……. Someone helped me after I gave him all the info he asked for couple things first of all wrong battery size for the car and I bought the tools he said I would need to change it….. also wrong I was missing the one size I needed so I went back and got another size just to change the battery on my car that was stuck it was just the wrong day to give the wrong information but on the bright side they are very nice

I came here for the first time as I just moved into the area. Store shopping was closed but I did a curb side pick up of several items. The process was easy and smooth. The only downside was that I had placed multiple online orders but the CT employee could only process one order at a time. So several trips by the employee were made back and forth.11/26/2022: amazing selection of Xmas decors

On June 16, 2023, I brought my vehicle to Canadian Tire Newmarket (Yonge & Davis location) for a scheduled winter tire change and an oil change. The persons who worked on my vehicle were unlicensed mechanics and had the title of Associate. They caused so much damage because of their inexperience. It almost cost me my life. The lug nuts on the vehicle were over torqued resulting in me losing the front left tire.I am LUCKY to be alive and/or not seriously injured. Had it not been for one broken lug nut holding up the wheel, my vehicle would have caused a chain reaction crash…killing or seriously injuring me and other innocent people. Fortunately, I was able to get off the road safely.I will never step foot into another Canadian Tire to have my vehicle serviced. When it’s not attempts being made to upselling you…give you products you don’t need, it’s potentially doing shoddy work due to being unlicensed and inexperienced.I give Canadian Tire 1 ⭐️ star. Go there at your own risk!

Great experience with the auto service team yesterday! Gave us a quick fix to our car with a loose fuel regulator. They also did a scan for engine codes for us and although they didn’t have time to fix the engine problems they made sure we were okay to drive away before giving us the keys!

If I could give the Newmarket Canadian Tire Auto Service Department a negative star review, I would. I brought in my vehicle over a week ago due to some mechanical issues, found out I needed a new Catalytic Converter; I asked them to give me 24 hours to make a decision to move forward with the repair as it’s an older vehicle. After deciding to go forward with it, I would call once per day hoping that I would be able to get an update. Every day that I called, one of the Service Reps would advise that someone would give me a call back, but I wouldn’t receive any calls. Finally, I called two days ago for an update was advised that it should be ready that evening. I went into the Service Department Waiting Room and waited for almost 2 hours; I went up to the Counter and requested an ETA (keep in mind that not one Technician/Mechanic even approached my vehicle while I was present). The Service Rep advised that the vehicle wouldn’t be ready that evening, but should be ready the following day.I finally received my first phone call from them the following day, advising that I would need a new Oxygen Sensor; I approved the additional cost and requested that they move forward with the repair as soon as possible. I’ve had to take Cabs back and forth to work for almost a full week, the cost of which is nearing $600. I called back about 7 hours later and asked for an update; they advised that they didn’t have the part when the approval was provided but it had just been delivered. He also stated that the vehicle would be ready by approximately 7:00 pm that evening, but that they would call me as soon as it was ready. Here we are on the following day by 10:00 am and I still haven’t heard back from them. I try calling yet again and am advised that they will “call me back” later this afternoon to provide an UPDATE, not to tell me that my vehicle would be ready. At this point, all I can suggest to anyone is that you go to any other location possible and avoid this place at all costs. When I went into the Garage when I thought my vehicle was ready, there was literally no seats left for anyone to sit in, so I sat on the floor of the Service Department. When I went up to the Service Desk for an update, the employee literally walked away from me, went into the back for 5 minutes, returned then gave me a perplexed look and asked if I needed assistance. The Staff here just don’t seem to care at all about the Customers and they appear to lie to you to get you off of the phone (I've dealt with maybe one person who seemed to care, that's all). Still waiting for my vehicle or a call back from the Service Department Manager, I’m not holding my breath. Beware!

For convenience, I was able to get an appointment the same day. However, this is the only mechanic shop I know that doesn’t refund the diagnostic when you are getting work done. Even after spending $1400 on repairs, they still charged me $100 for the diagnostic. When I inquired they noted that only break diagnostics are refunded as they would have “already removed the tires”. Fundamentally this does not makes sense, as even the work I had done (front shocks / struts) require the tires to be removed, and removing 4 tires doesn’t cost $95.
